If he is there, I would consider taking Randy Gregory in the second round. He is a top 15 talent.

I think Schwartz is the player at risk. Can Irving play right tackle? no way he is better than Schwartz. as much as everyone busts on him... he is def top 15 in the NFL
Hunter + Dart = This is the way.

Can't say I'm disappointed with this draft so far, usually I'm always disappointed.
Good start.

Erving played 22 games at left tackle and was a first team ACC for two years before switching to center. He is definitely athletic enough to play RT. Someone who is more of an OL expert could probably comment better but I don't see why he can't play any/all positions on the OL even LT.

First round over. If I don't take my wife out she might kill me. Go Browns!

What are the chances that Jalen Strong or Maxx Williams is there with our 2nd round pick? I think it has to be a skilled position right?

His technique isnt there to play tackle as of now but in the future very possible but for now I see him as a RT that is probably gonna play comfortably around 330 and still be a dancing bear. He has the feet his hand technique needs to catchup.

We got Erving with the pick from the Bills where they took Watkins. I'd take an Erving over a Watkins every day and twice on Sundays. Wait, what? I'm saying I'm not having a crush on WR when we don't even have a QB. I'd rather build the OL to run and the DL to stop the run. When we can run and stop the run and start getting above average play from our QB then I'll be all about elite WR's.

When we can run and stop the run and start getting above average play from our QB then I'll be all about elite WR's. Josh Gordon looked pretty good with no QB. . . A great QB can improve a decent WR, and a great WR can dramatically improve a so-so QB. If that WR can turn short passes into TD, and if that WR has the ability to expand his catch radius, then he can help a QB even more. Gordon could get so wide open, at least in 2013, that the QB could just get the ball in his general vicinity and let him make a play on it. It is great that we want a great OL, but we also need gys who can make others better. We need guys who can take an average play and turn it into a special play. We lack those guys on this team, and we have not added any yet. I understand, and support the Shelton pick, because he can be a difference maker in the run game. However, I don't see us getting the same level of upgrade from a C/G when our OL was a real strength last year.

I am not excited about this pick, but I can see the logic behind it.

He broke his leg. He didn't tear ligaments, he broke his leg.Now I suppose that it could be far worse than we have been told, but usually a broken leg heals without too much work. I would assume that he has to gradually increase the weight and pressure he puts on the leg, but I doubt that he is going to have lasting problems with a broken leg.
