Anyone here know Russian? I am looking for the translation of "Я статся смерт"

I think its russian anyhow. I may be mistaken.

I'm pretty sure that the forums won't permit the posting of non-standard character sets like Cyrillic.

Pasting the characters above into Google though, and then pasting the resulting characters into BabelFish, I was able to get it translated to:

I statsya smert

A coworker has translated 'smert' to mean 'death', no clue on what 'statsya' is.

Tried that, and I got I statsja Smert. Typed that in and got nothing, thanks for the helpful productive answer though.

I'm afraid not

I was planning on learning it but one of my distant relatives told me I should learn Serbian instead. I studied Serbian ... but not much. Italian and "some" Latin are the extent of my knowledge.
