hmmm maybe some didnt get my post? Every president comments on severe weather casualties and problems. They assure the people the government is behind them to help. They often site FEMA is on the way to offer assistance. trump went golfing and has said NOTHING ( see post above ). Because he does not give a rats ass about anyone but himself.

First, you cripple NOAA, then you hide that any weather related issue occured. Then of course, you blame Biden and Obama for not informing you.

Trump is on the golf course again while all this is going on.
Well, he's been golfing non-stop, just like these weather events.

Kentucky and Arkansas are getting hit hard by flooding... Does anyone know if they've sent in FEMA yet? Better yet, does FEMA still exist?

What specific actions has the Trump administration taken to support Kentucky after the tornadoes What specific actions has the Trump administration taken to support Kentucky after the tornadoes
Answer
Sources 9 The Trump administration has taken several actions to support Kentucky following recent tornadoes and severe weather:
Emergency Declarations:
President Trump declared an emergency for Kentucky on April 4, 2025, authorizing FEMA to coordinate disaster relief efforts across all 120 counties. This includes providing equipment, resources, and funding for emergency protective measures at 75% federal cost-sharing.
Earlier, a Major Disaster Declaration was approved on February 24, 2025, enabling federal funding for individuals and local governments in ten counties affected by storms, flooding, and landslides. This funding supports temporary housing, home repairs, low-cost loans for uninsured property losses, and hazard mitigation measures statewide.
FEMA Assistance:
FEMA has been mobilized to provide meals, water, generators, and other essential commodities. Urban Search and Rescue teams and emergency communication support were also deployed to assist state and local responders.
Residents impacted by the disasters can apply for assistance through FEMA's online platforms or helpline.
Coordination with Local Authorities:
Federal Coordinating Officer Jeremy Slinker was appointed to oversee recovery operations in affected areas.
The administration worked closely with Kentucky officials to expedite approvals and ensure swift response efforts. Governor Andy Beshear praised the administration for its quick turnaround on emergency declarations.
These actions aim to alleviate hardships faced by Kentuckians and support recovery efforts in the wake of severe weather events.

I feel I see those situations (major accident/flipped semi) on the opposite side of the 75 from where I'm driving 3 times to every time I get stuck in those traffic jams.
So I'm due for a real crappy drive in or out of the office in the next week or two.
