As some may remember, I had fairly major rotator cuff and Bicep tendon surgery at the end of May this year. I am at about 7 months post-op. and have been released by my doctor. I have been trying to work on building the muscles in my arms a bit, building flexibility, and range of motion. My range of motion is excellent, back to 100% in all arm motions. My flexibility also feels pretty good. I have worked up to 25# dumbells for a variety of arm and chest exercises. Some might say this isn't much, but considering I had trouble with 1# before the surgery, I consider it to be pretty good. I could probably go up to 30# ..... but I want to take it a little slow. I am not interested in becoming the Incredible Hulk, just strong enough that my muscles don't keep tearing apart. crazy (I have had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders over the past several years, and don't particularly want to do it again)

Anyway, that;s the update. Oh, and I am down to 245# as well. laugh Only 45 more to go.

Thanks guys.

Fate, I have been on the rehab from the first moment I could. I have found that my left arm is quite a lot stronger then my right, probably due to the fact that I always tried to carry as much as I could, in as few trips as possible, when I first felt my shoulder really say bad things to me. I just loaded up my left and carried like 1 bag in my right.

bbrowns32 ...... If I can make it to the bigs with a 40 MPH fastball ..... they can call me up. rofl

Man Swish .... I would not want an android body ..... because, frankly, I just wouldn't want to live that long. crazy 70-75 would be good enough for me.

GM ..... the hardest part to take off seems to be the first that went on. I am down to a 38/40 waist ...... but my gut above the waist is still .... oversized. banghead Still working on it though.

Listen here, tubby wubby. Unless you’re 6’3 and packed with good muscle, and I’m guessing you’re not, shoot for 185.

And congrats on the dedication to rehab!

Years ago. I was 205#and wore a 32-34" waist. I wasn't super muscular, but my body type is that I would probably look ill at 185. lol 200# would be good for me .... maybe 195. I don't see much chance of much less than that though.

but think about it, you could still age mentally, right? maybe it's just until 90, except now you dont have to deal with the physical pain that comes with it. you've been going through a lot of tough stuff, that's why i'm half-joking about the android body.
