I usually make a trip to that area every year on my motorcycle. There is some beautiful riding in that area.

Some of the caves and other attractions are barely off the road and not much of a hike, while others have some very good hiking trails around both the lower and upper rim trails. All trails are marked according to difficulty.

Go w/ a group of people in 2 cars. Drop one car off at Old Man's Cave, drive to Ash Cave and hike all the way from Ash Cave back to Old Man's Cave. Nice hike, great scenery.

I don't remember the exact distance but isn't that like a 7 mile hike? I know it also takes you to one of the falls or something also. It is a great trail though.

As far as night life I usually just go into Logan. I've found a couple nice little bars and places to eat there and always have had a good time.

That's the Cabin resort in Logan, Ohio right?

My sister and her husband stayed there once or twice.

I hope those helmets are for minors, because I am not wearing one to ride a friggen mule.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

Already have the cabin with the hot tub booked.

I've never been horseback riding, and can't say that I'm really interested. Do you know if there are any areas that permit ATV's? Now THAT would be a blast. And are there any ATV rentals places around there, for that matter?

I was going to mention that. Wayne National Forest is a very popular place for ATV riding. They have some very nice trails but make sure you stay on the designated ATV trails or the rangers will get you and ruin your vacation budget. I dont know for sure about the rental places because we always took our own but I am pretty sure there are places to rent them.

Have fun
