bottom line is he stole 2 years from me wanting a franchise QB. not because of talent... which is up in the air anyway.. but from being a punk. i could forgive if he tried and fail to be a nfl QB..... but just a punk. I guess I just don't understand the direction your anger is pointed in. His dad had publicly stated he had a major drinking problem that his family had tried to help but couldn't. His antics were out there for everyone to see. Manziel was the same punk BEFORE he was drafted. In regards to Manziel, I place far more of the blame towards those who ignored all of his issues and drafted him anyway than I do towards the player they expected to evolve into what they wanted him to be. Honestly, I knew before the draft that he was a bit of a party animal, but what I didn't know is that it was as bad as it turned out to be. You would think that when you are the GM of an NFL Team and that you have so much riding on the few picks you get each year, that you would hire people to overturn every stinking rock to get all the info you need to make an informed decision. Actually, with the advent of social media and other forms of background gathering techniques, there just isn't an excuse for a team to make a bad decision when it's in regards to his off field behavior. On Field, well, that's a horse of a different color. Great in College, dud in the pros.. it's guess work at best.

Yeah, the people who drafted him couldn't judge character and that's Johnnie's fault.
I didn't say he was blameless. But all the red flags were there and it was the FO that brought him here in the first place. If you know a guy is a party boy, why draft him in round 1?

Click that link and compare the position of the "Proverbs" tatoo with the one of the pic you posted. In the pic, the tatoo is horizontal on his chest. In that video it runs vertical down past his nipple. But why spoil a harmless lie?
