Coach Pettine has made his way to the podium and after making a brief statement will open it up for questions.
First of all I'd like to give credit to the New York Jets. They came ready to play today and deserved the win. We failed to put our players in a position to win and that is on the coaching staff. Several times we shot ourselves in the foot, whether it was a turn-over or penalty. Now let's open the room up for questions. You in the rear of the room with the nice tie, go: Truth is we had a long day on Saturday. We took the team out to Coney Island for some male bonding, rode all the rides and had such a great time. We even had a hot dog eating contest. Danny won, (no surprise there,lol). Then we went to a Broadway Show. Have you seen "West Side Story" ? Great show, you should go see it, take the wife. Next!

He played that way in preseason as well. For a sage vet, he wasn't very sage. Ken Carmen put it best this morning on 92.3. Said McCown went Lt. Dan from Forrest Gump on the team and said "I was suppose to die out on that field!" Hahahahaha!

Was it in your game plan to have the 2 quarterbacks be the leading rushers? Coach, I'll piggy back this question... You've talked about "minimizing" the role of the QB position. Is this team on board with that philosophy? I ask because from where I'm sitting, we had 2 rather average QB's on the field, but the rest of the team decided to suck so bad, they made the same 2 QB's look like THE most important guys on the field.

And you know, that's no easy feat. I mean getting all these guys on the same page takes preparation. Just one guys opinion, we have the best coaches in the league. It did help Gilbert punch it in a ditch after all. Instead of a suspension, I feel he needs to be on the field getting embarrassed along with the rest of us.
