The video ads that appear after the first post give me all kinds of trouble.
They keep pulling the page back to bring it into view, and anytime the "Mobility Man" one plays it freezes Chrome until it's finished and then crashes.
MS Edge browser just seems to have the jump back to be in view whenever a new video starts, but does not crash.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

yeah, the pulling back up is annoying.
For some reason I can't log in with microsoft edge. Shame, too... because it is otherwise really fast.

I've seen some crashes in Chrome recently, too. I had suspected that they were Flash/ads related, but I hadn't had a chance to look deeper at it.
Unfortunately, that behavior is coming directly from the ads, and I don't think it is something I can override. I'll see if I can, but I think it is something an advertiser is trying to force. Google will likely sniff it out soon and put a stop to it, they don't like it when people mess with their system like that.
As for MS Edge.... I have not tried it. I do have a Win10 system at my disposal, so I will try it this evening to see what the deal might be. It is likely just an issue with cookies. Ensure that they are enabled and you are allowing them from this site.

I am logged in and posting this using Microsoft Edge in its default configuration under Windows 10. Any chance you have any other details, or have done anything outside of the default setup? Security settings? Cookie blockers, turned off javascript, etc...??

I'll check out the settings when I get home. Thanks Prp. Any reason that being logged in in firefox would prevent me from logging in with edge as well?

It worked last night. Not sure why it hasn't before. I didn't even change any settings. Only difference I can think of is I didn't have firefox open as well

None at all.... but, I also have no idea at all what Microsoft is attempting to do with Edge. The two SHOULD operate completely independently, but... it's Microsoft, so who knows.

I was just about to post this. My page keeps scrolling up. Very annoying and I'm not sure the remedy?
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

It's annoying as hell. The Iams ad keep running on a loop or something, and there are two spaces for ads, so I get about 20 seconds to scroll through the thread before one of the ad spaces restarts and pulls me back up to the top.

Some browsers have ad blockers built in. The one I use (Maxthon) has Ad Block 2 built in, and it works beautifully. I can easily turn it on or off for any site, so if I want to support this site, I can easily turn it off and have ads display. If I get ads that cause problems, I can turn it on and easily (and completely) eliminate the offending ads. It is stable, and has a ton of really great features.
I do not want to suggest that people use ad blocking software all the time, because those ads help support the site ...... but when there are ads that cause functionality problems, then I see no problem with blocking them.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

Sometime if I'm getting a lot of video ads mucking up things I just go to Tools > Safety > Active-X Filtering and put a check mark enabling the filter. Video ads get 404'd and dirty sites like Cleveland.com load and run a lot smoother. Of course then you have to remember to uncheck the filter when you want to watch Youtube, or whatever.

On my screen its the little thing that looks like a gear in the upper right corner, just under the X you use to close your screen. Its also available in the Menu bar on the upper left, right under the URL for the page you're on. For that one just click Tools and then check mark the Active-X Filtering selection.
