This is an exercise in silliness, predictions of the future. (As such, let's not argue about the past and present.) Predictions can be any current or future NFL player. They can become Browns via draft, trade or free agency. You can be conservative and predict picks in this year's draft, or go off the deep end and predict FA acquisitions 4 years in the future.
My prediction of future Browns;
Obum Gwacham Cardale Jones

Most of the time, I think it'll be Danny Shelton (NT) and Eli Harold (OLB) in the first round.
But a part of me thinks that we might not be in the position to move up for our QB again anytime soon. Its easy to foresee a period of years where we are in this "velvet rut" of 6-10, 7-9 seasons that have you always drafting 11-20. Its when I think this way that I think we might very well end up with Mariota and a 2nd tier WR like Devin Smith.

I couldn't begin to think who we would take. If we were a team that hardly makes draft day trades like the Steelers, I'd have a better idea of who is more probable to be around at the slot we'd be picking at. However, Farmer exhibited just last year how open he is to dancing about the draft order. Just in the first round, he made three trades, although one was most likely Haslem's.
If there is any good about that process, it means if Farmer really like a player, he'll do what he can to make it happen. The down side, at least in the first round, that hasn't worked out yet.
I'll guess Malcolm Brown and Cam Irving (not necessarily in the first round). I think Farmer leans towards the trenches and those can be "safer" picks than other positions. I think the uncertainty of Mack's contract, Schwartz in his last year make sense with the versatility of Irving who can play just about anywhere. So, if you lose one of those two, Irving slides right in. Brown kinda along the same vein. Winn, Taylor in their final contract years. Bryant didn't play well last year, either by injury issues, the heart problem, motivation, whatever. Brown makes sense too. Not sure where Irving falls, either with our #19 or second round pick. But, again, if Farmer likes him, I don't doubt he'll maneuver to a position that fits his value, in his mind.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

That's our 2016 Head Coach and GM.
I'm not sure which guy takes which role or who either of them are.

Brandon Weeden and Trent Richardson. LOL. I thought that was pretty funny.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...
