If you don't - you'll forever be resigning average or marginal talent "just in case" .... what we all have to hope is that the FO got their eval right. We have 3 young, unproven, high potential CB's on the team. 1 stud CB and two very good safeties ... I don't think it's that much of a risk.

I believe the fact that they continue bringing veterans in for interviews shows they are looking to sign another CB. It seems to me that would be indicative of the fact they're not comfortable going into the 2015 season with Haden and the rookies.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Get it done, Farmer.

I know we shouldn't be panicking right now, but I REALLY don't want to rely solely on Gilbert and a draft pick to Skrine's shoes. Williams is a like for like swap, without Skrine's versatility. Also, any veteran coming from an organization such as the Packers is a plus in my book. Have this guy sit down with Gilbert, and tell him how he was taught to be a pro.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

There are other options out there if we don't sign Williams. Average corners are not hard to find.

I am sorry to see Skrine go, but I also think it is too soon to call Gilbert a bust. Yes, his rookie year was disappointing. As I recall, many were calling for getting rid of Skrine after his first year too. Yet here we are, 2 years later lamenting his departure. CB is a difficult position. Like anything else in life, some can quickly adapt, while others take time to learn to play it at the highest levels. Will Gilbert be as good as Skine was last year? Only time will tell. Will he be better in the long run? Again, time will tell. I just think it's too soon to judge.

Skrine is the new Vickers. How many times next season will we hear, "If Skrine was here that pass would have been defended."?

LOL....I hear ya....you do know that had Dawson been here he would have been nailing 70 yarders on a regular basis don't you?

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

No, but sure would have been nailing the 50 yarders.

And we'd have won 2 more games last season.
