I rarely visit this forum. I did so tonight and I had Saint's request on my mind, so I just want to say this:

I see that almost every thread on this forum is a complaint. I can relate to that because I am a teacher and generally, people only call or email to complain.

I want to switch things up a bit.

Thanks Purp for providing a place for Brown's fan to converse. You and I don't agree all the time, but I really respect what you are doing for so many Brown's fans.

Yes, thanks Purp, and how about letting us show our appreciation by bringing back the PayPal donation button which, just incidentally, would let us browse here without seeing banner ads? Unless, of course, banner ads create more revenue for the board than donations, in which case, don't.

Good idea and many thanks to Prp for not only hosting us all, but working on improvements and saving us when things go wrong (with the board, though maybe with his crisis management experience he can help us with the Browns too).

Sorry for being so slow to see & respond to this, but things have changed in my daily work environment and I can't really get here at all during the day (unless I'm being exceptionally sneaky like I am right now), so I haven't really been on the site in several days

As for the PayPal thing -- I do still plan to bring it back, but over the course of a year, I think I do make more off of the Ads. I don't really know, though, I've never tried to figure it out.
