I used to think Madden was great (I still do love to play Madden), but lately it seems like they've gotten lazy. JaMarcus Russell looks just like Aaron Brooks

Yeah, the next gen Madden sucks prett bad, you cant import guys from college, there's no mini camp, all the contols are different, and you can't EDIT players at all.
I have a Ps3 and Madden 07, and right now I'm playing the Ps2 version, so much better. My roster can actually have Brady Quinn and Thomas unlike the current next gen version.

As much as I hated the NFL game that ESPN put out, I wish they would come back with it. I thought it was a terrible game, but at least it put the pressure on Madden to make a good game. Right now they have no competition, so they can be lazy with the game, and they know people will buy it because they have no other option.

I seriously loved that game. NFL 2K5 Was awesome. You do know that EA bought Exclusivity rights to the NFL right? Visual Concepts did an awesome job with that game.

Yeah I know. I just hate that though. It gives them no competition, so they can be lazy with the game. Yeah, all pro-football, or whatever it's called.. but I don't want Brady Quinn's name to be "Jason Smith" lol.

I played 07 and didnt like it, but now, I do.. You can create players.. I made Brady, ran the 40 in 9 seconds, lol, with 4 benchpresses.. He has a rating of " freaking 21 ", LOL.. Anyways, played my first franchise game, and Brady cant throw any further then about 20 yards, LOL..
PS. I have never went throught the whole combine process on Madden 07

You mean on Ps3 or 360?
Yeah to create a player it's super super hard, it's pretty crappy.
My highest time on the 40 has been 4.7, my highest bench press has been like 10 reps.
They need to make those games a hell of a lot easier, man.

I agree. I thought NFL 2k5 was far superior to Madden. I actually put in yesterday to play and was laughing at our roster. Full of gems like Andre King, Amon Gordon, Kevin Bentley, Melvin Folwer, Brown, Warren, etc. Remember those guys?? I went and updated rosters myself and created a few player like Braylon and frye. It was fun to go back and play it again.
