I'm sure it'll surface sooner or later... it's just a great P.R. pic

Did anyone else's heart sink a bit when they saw that and we passed on him at #3? C'mon, ya'll know how much you love this team.

From the look on Brady's face in that photo, we just lost to Denver in the playoffs ...

Yes. NurseDawg and I looked at each other and went "Awwwww!" We wanted to go back and change the pick.

How sweet that it all went down the way it did. Unfreaking believable.

No, but my heart sank when they announced we traded away what we did to go back and get him at 22.........he would have been there for us with our 2nd round pick perhaps, and if he was't, it wouldn't have been a great loss!

The rats would have trade up to get him and we probably would have taken Smith... I LOVE smith but I much rather have Quinn.

Ya, it's a great story and all but the fact is the kid has shown that he is incapable of winning in a pressure situation, he has shown that he does not possess the arm strength.......if you are all giddy because he had his picture taken in a Browns uni as a kid then you need to reestablish your priorities!

Is it a good pick because he is going to be an awesome player for us, or do you think it's a good pick because he was a Browns fan as a kid??????

TopDawg- I would have responded further to the other thread about Quinn haters that got locked, but I'm sorry I asn't living 24/7 on here to do so....
Excuse me for not "stepping up to the plate."

I don't think it was a good value pic, and yinz seem to be giddy over it because he had his picture taken in a Browns uni as a child!!!!!!

That's effing ludicrous!

speaking of the rant, where can I find that? I haven't heard it yet.

Is it on the Browns homepage?

The Ratbirds had him on the phone saying they were going to trade up for him.

I really don't want the Ratbirds to get a franchise QB steal like that. It did 3 things:

1. Gave us an identity- someone to think of when you speak of the Browns
2. Gave us a franchise QB that we've longed for
3. Bent over Baltimore. For the second year in a row.

You got us!! The reason we want him behind center, is because of that picture!!
Your thinking is "effing ludicrous!"

Hey I had a Browns uni as a kid! If I find a pic maybe I can play for them too!

It's an added bonus the kid grew up a Browns fan and dreamed of playing here, but it has nothing to do with the pic.

Otherwise, we could have gotten Troy Smith for a buttload less in round 5.

That and I believe Jerry Jones said something to Savage on the phone regarding Baltimore contacting him in order to try to make a move into their spot.
