I've been a Browns fan since 1950 their 1st year in the
NFL Paul Brown just ripped the NFL up by going to 6
consecutive league championships and winning 3 of them.
That's not counting the 4 AAFL championships they won
46-49.
Our problems started when art model bought the team
and fired PB and did not have enough skill to keep
Jim Brown happy.
I seem to recall the Cincinnati Bengals did better
under PB than we did under anyone else. We've never
been to a Superbowl.
Our owner back then was more cocerned about money
and proved that when he tried to steal the team right
out from under us.
Since we came back we've just been a training ground
for other teams. Just look at Bruce Ariens, Romeo
Crennel and don't forget Belichek. There's so much
more but at 70+ my memory is fading.
What's it gonna be like when I'm 93 (I took a test
that told me that I'll live that long) I plan on
living till Jesus comes back.
Which isn't that far off.
