So folks,
what do you think. Today is my b-day and my g/f pre-ordered me the PS4 Destiny bundle. Doesn't come out till September 9th. I won't get to play it till September 28 because I'll be on a tugboat from like August 28 to September 28th.
Should I just get her to buy me the regular PS4 and get a copy of Destiny when it comes out in September? Then I can play around with the thing for 2 weeks before I go away to work? Or should I stick with the Destiny Bundle and get the different looking system (probably newer made, so that it wasn't one of those models that might have been rushed because PS4's were so backed up). You save 10$ on Destiny and also get a 10$ PSN card and a 30 day trial of PS+ (mine expires in January, but I'd imagine i'll renew it, especially if i can grab a PS+ card on Black Friday).
So what would you do, PS4 regular edition and two weeks of play or wait until the end of September and get the system then?

I'll Remember on that show " South Park" when Russell Crowe went around the world beating people up with his cartoon sidekick the Tugboat, that shot itself at having to listen to him sing.
Happy Birthday. I'd wait to play the thing later. Plus! Whatever the girlfriend got you, just do it that way.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

She just wants me to be happy, which I am. We've been visiting CT the past week and a half (where we both grew up), and she hit me with a surprise party yesterday. My best buddy and her planned it. A bunch of my friends were there, it was great. I was not ready for it at all, I had friends come back for the evening from New York City and people I hadn't seen in awhile. We were outside and while it was cool with storm clouds, didn't rain until late in the evening. Everything worked perfect. Kind of funny because she's been bugging me for the past couple weeks about what my plans were, and what I wanted to do for my birthday. I'm a last minute guy and I don't always relay what's going on to her (which drives her nuts anyway), and she was worried I was going to buy tickets to a Yankee game or something. lol
So, I'm a pretty lucky guy.
Anyway, I think I'm sticking with the Destiny Bundle. I'll just keep working on beating Zelda: Skyward Sword. I'm mid-way through and that game's pretty cool. Not the greatest, but it's different. I find myself feeling a little embarassed doing motion control games by myself. 28 years old and i'm raising my hand to the sky to power up my sword, lol. That and I feel that the motion controls in the game just aren't perfect. They don't always read what I want to do. So it's nowhere near my favorite games ever, but like Windwaker (which I recently played), and all the other nintendo games, it's very well done and it's challenging.
