Is this his way of admitting that he doesn't have a clue about what he's doing or how to fix the economy and that he's willing to take the country down with him if he has to go?

You have an incredible gift for twisting words to negate their actual meaning. Somehow "Let’s embrace an economic patriotism that says we rise or fall together, as one nation." becomes an admission of not knowing how to fix finances rather than a statement on corporations that are hiding profits overseas as to not have to pay the appropriate amount of taxes. Its truly an incredible talent.

I think this is atrocious. I shouldn't sink economically because he can't get the economy working. What he's saying is, we should all sink or swim together. If you have more than someone else, you have to give that up to someone else. We all have to be equal. That's socialism... and it will fail... 100% of the time.

Right. He wants to suddenly acknowledge America's borders when it comes to businesses but not when it comes to foreigners crossing the border.
I can tell you this much, you see it going on within the US too. Companies are moving out of places like New York to much more business-friendly climates such as Texas, Tennessee, South Dakota, etc. Business doesn't like a hostile place to operate any more than workers like a hostile place to work.

Maybe if our corporate and small business tax rate were not so abusive compared to the rest of the world they wouldn't all need to run away. It's not like the labor costs make it great to run a business in the US.
Thanks to NAFTA they can just ship things to Mexico and then move them north and pay zero tariffs. Just in legitimate imports and exports we are at a 86 BILLION dollar trade DEFICIT. NAFTA cost more US jobs than any other single piece of legislation in the past 200 years.
London is becoming the next New York. They cut their corp taxes to as low as 10% compared to 30% in New York. You can't blame a company for relocating to save that kind of money.

So what part of the economy does the president or the congress control?
It seems the worst hit to our economy happened when the Tea Party shut the government down.
Just wondering if you're thinking that somehow Obama should be the country's CEO or something.
Plus, I'm struggling to see where he says we all have to be equal. Isn't he saying that everyone should follow the same rules and we rise and fall together doesn't mean we're rising and falling on the same plane.
Are you sure you're not just trying to fill an agenda?
