Hey everyone! I don't post much but frequent the board often. I'm having trouble finding out when single game tickets go on sale for this season.
Anybody know?
I'm looking for two decent seats to the Oct 12 game vs the Steelers.
Thanks in advance for any information you might have.

There has been a nice rush for season tickets since Johnny Football was drafted. As long as the sales team can sell season packages, they will do so until they get to the bare minimum....all teams have to allow some walk up traffic for individual ticket sals

I hadn't thought of that. Makes sense. In the past I'd just grab a game or two the day they went on sale.
Guess I'll just wait a few weeks and if they don't go on sale get some from a ticket exchange.
Appreciate the response! Thanks

So you're saying that they haven't announced a date when single game tickets go onsale???? It seems crazy how hard it is to find info from the Browns when every other team either has tickets on sale now or lists when they go onsale. Pittspuke put theirs onsale way back in May....

I've found that over the years, buying the tickets the week of the game from stubhub or ebay is the way to go for the best seats at the best price. Back in the day, we used to just hit up the scalpers. If you waited until the National Anthem started, they went into panic mode and let them go dirt cheap.

True, but I need 8 together, with multiple people (including myself) coming from out of state. We need a method slightly more reliable, even if we need to pay a bit more.

Makes sense. The Steelers are sold out. The Skins are, the Packers. They aren't selling season tickets. All they have available are the seats they reserve for individual sale.
No team is going to sell all of their seats as season tickets. It sounds great, but it is bad business.

That's an easy way to get robbed now. With Print-At-Home tickets - you can just print off 5 or so tickets and start selling them. TM won't/can't do anything about it in terms of refunds.

I've never seen anyone selling print at home tickets on ebay. You would have to be an idiot to buy them from some anonymous person online.

I wouldn't think of buying tickets from scalpers in front of the stadium these days. Back in the 70's and 80's you didn't have a printer in every household. I've bought more than a few tickets for concerts, Browns and Red Wings games from ebay and never had a problem.

As long as they have good selling history, you're probably fine.
I've sold printed and real tickets on eBay quite often. My 250+ sells at 100% help the buyers confidence.
And I've bought printed tickets too. Heck, there are sellers that just forward an e-mail and you print them yourself.
As jfanent said, I would never buy from a scalper near the stadium for any event. At least on eBay you can see their selling history. I doubt someone would go through 500+ perfect transactions just to scam me out of my $90 for four White Sox tickets.

Not true, I've done it several times. As long as the eBay seller has established, good feedback.
As far as Browns tickets go, they usually open them to the public around the third week of July, a little surprising they haven't done that already.

I can't remember the last time I bought an actual ticket on Ebay. The Jags game in '99 I think.

No, but it might be pricier due to the Manziel circus (or we start winning ). I've never had a problem finding tickets on Stubhub. Considering the logistics of your situation, it's probably best to stay away from Ebay. If I were you Riddler, I'd write the front office and tell them you're coming from Australia to see your beloved Browns.....they might just give you some great seats and other perks for a special interest story or something.

Cheers jfan, that's a good idea. There'll probably be at least 2 of us, me and an Eagles fan so the trip will also incorporate a trip to Philly. A friend of mine is going to the Browns v Saints this year (among many others on a bit of a tour around Baltimore and Youngstown etc) but it was too late notice for me to swing it. Do people score tickets through the Browns backers groups these days? Saint, Cap?

I called them and tried that... evidently they have caller ID and wanted to know why I was calling form 214 if from Australia... told them Dallas Australias they didnt buy it.
I also mentioned shrimp on tha barbie ( sorry Riddler, artistic license), and they told me Manziel was not available.
Anyway got our seats through Vivid section 120 row 4 Squealer game... my boy is stoked.
GM he asked if you would be there?

Same here. I emailed my ticket rep yesterday and asked when I'd get them. She said they were shipped yesterday and I'd receive them today.
When I got home yesterday, they were on my front porch.
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism
