I would say as far as 'media bias' in America goes, it's probably our most egregious issue in that regard.
I feel for and understand both sides, but both sides have done so much to negate that initial logical assumption.
It's more or less 'which terrorist state do you dislike the least?'
I've always been torn about what Palestine should do...years ago, I argued that they should just take a Gandhi stance and see if the world ended up backing them. But another part of me thinks they would've just been exterminated, anyway.
Then again, with today's social media, it may have been a viable option.
When you lock a man in a cage, he's eventually going to go crazy, thus giving the people who put him there the ability to say 'See? He needs to be caged.'

Hey, things will never work out there. Israel is surrounded by countries that don't like them and will funnel money to terrorist groups that attack them. It was true, it is true, and it will continue to be true.

Hamas' target is the Palestinians. They are goading Israel into being their weapon. Martyrdom-by-proxy of the Palestinians serves their (Hamas') interests very well.

American media portrays Israel as a country minding it's own business, having to deal with ruthless, violent acts from the Palestinians. And a lot of people buy it.
As I said in that same post...neither side looks good in this. I feel for the Palestinians in regards to what Israel has done to them. But they're not exactly doing a great job of pleading their case.

The Israelis gave them land for peace. There was no peace. It became a staging ground for rocket attacks. The Israelis allowed them to self govern, the Palestinians elect Hamas. Hamas' charter states they will not rest until all the Jews are dead, in so many words. And don't forget what the Israelis have said lately, "Israel uses rockets to protect their people. Hamas uses people to protect their rockets." I am fairly sure if Hamas decided to live in peace, the Israelis would leave them alone. You haven't seen an real problems with Egypt since they declared peace with Israel. The Israelis gave all of Egypt's land back too.

Ah......Pretty sure that all that land belongs to Israel. God promised that land to them, so all they want is what's theirs. If your Father gave you some land and a house, but when you got there, there was a bunch of people living in your house and in tents on your land, would you give it to them or would you want to take it back and live there yourself?

Main argument about all of this is Israel, due to texts in the Old Testament, believes they deserve the land. If they believed they wouldn't be forcing the hand of their god. Yes, this dates all the way back to when the land was up for grabs after WWII.
Both sides are at fault. Just stop bulldozing homes, bombing the other side in retaliation and just find ways to be friends. Isn't that what the heart of both religious beliefs hold near and dear?

It it meant putting my families lives in danger, I would find somewhere else to live.. that's what I will never understand. Why would you want to put your family around a bunch of people that hate your guts? I don't think land should trump your life. but that is my belief..
