I struggle with trying to figure out how you equate finding a job you like to who you are sexually attracted to and want to spend your life with.
Well, how do most people pick a career path? You look at your interests, your personality, and try to pick a career that fits yourself and your values, something you will enjoy doing for many years, something that is rewarding for you... How do you pick who you are going to spend the rest of your life with? Somebody who has common interests, somebody you find sexually appealing, somebody that you can see yourself growing with for many years, somebody that makes you feel good about yourself and shares your values....
I don't believe they are identical but are you saying there are no similarities? Because from my experience, those who don't make the decision based on a lot of those factors end up changing relatively quickly... that goes for careers and spouses...

I hope he doesn't get drafted by the Browns. With all this hubbub concerning Incognito and the Dolphins, the scrutiny by the press and by the NFL will have every player walking on eggshells. That would turn any lockerroom into a morgue.
Indecision may,or maynot,be my problem

Another tedious topic. Didn't read this one either, but did anyone post the classic "So what?" yet?

Not quite. The "So what?" must be posted by someone who claims to care nothing about homosexuality personally, and who is also pathetically ignorant of the social and cultural consequence of an event such as this one. I don't think you qualify, thankfully.

That's a stretch. Who makes my penis erect and who makes me want to work for them are on entirely different planets. I understand what you're trying to say, but I'm saying it's biological, not logical.
My current GF is a smart, beautiful, PHD student that adores me and waits on me hand and foot and yet I would be lying to myself if I said I wasn't in love with the slutty, waitress/bartender that barely finished her associates and didn't even want to be exclusive with me. Who you love in my expereince, despite my best efforts lmao can't be done logically like choosing a career.

You aren't in love with the slutty bartender, that's lust my friend... Because you know that once you got used to her body, and you would, that you would have next to nothing in common to talk about...
You can have a job and you can keep that job for many years and you can even grow in that job.. all the while you might hate your job... you might find it tedious and boring and annoying.. but you stay because it pays the bills.
Much like many people stay in broken relationships for many years after they aren't fun any more... after they aren't getting anything out of it... because the fear of being alone is greater than the dissatisfaction of being in a broken relationship...
When it comes to finding not just a job or a good lay but THE RIGHT job and THE RIGHT person to be with, there are emotional aspects to both, there are practical aspects to both... and, if I must add this, one of the big reasons the divorce rate is north of 50% is because too many people ignore the practical aspects of relationships and marry the person who satisfies those other needs the best.

being happy at what you do for a living is just as biological as it is logical. the ability to sit in front of a computer desk for 8-12 hours a day isn't for everyone. the same can be said of being outside working construction. the ability to lead people and organize is a way of thinking that not all have the ability to do. the ability to shut up and do your job is also very beneficial in many places.
here's a good one for me personally: if you have a tough time concentrating on one particular task for a long period of time, then having a job with many, many compartmental tasks makes you MORE efficient than most (me: computer engineer). However, if you tried heart surgery, then I do not believe you would have much success.
I do believe that your specific skillset in many of those situations is biologically tied.
