Good morning - I tried to post an article from The Washington Post, and then, after getting the "I made an empty post" result, I tried to post a reprint of the same article from The Miami Herald and got the same empty post deal. Neither is a blog, or has the word "blog" in the URL, and neither is premium content which is disallowed in the Rules of the Pound. The URL's in question are:

http://www.miamiherald.com/static/media/projects/2013/year-in-review/

http://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/...1fac_story.html

Just wondering what rule is being broken with either of these sites being used. Thanks.

After looking at both of your links I would have to say they were blocked due the size of the photos on both links as they far exceed the allowable size.

I see and hear everything. Now where did I put my white cane, and my hearing aid?

No, that can't be it because I deleted the photos for my post. I do recall a random "hell" in the article, so maybe thats what blocked it? I doubt it, because I see that word used all the time by posters. Its not a big deal, I thought the article was funny and that peeps here might like it. But I am curious as to what makes the snarky "I made an empty post by referencing a disallowed site" message show up.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out, though.

I'll have to look closer, but my guess is that it is something that the article is linking to.
