First ... hello my fellow Dawgies. It's been a long time.
As to the subject title .... back in 07 our Brownies made a run at the Division title. As a whole the entire season was fun. Derek Anderson relieved Charlie Frye in the 2nd Quarter of a pitiful opener against Pittsburgh (remember .... 4 penalties on one play ... A PUNT). The rest was history and I "documented" it with highlight videos thru the rest of the season. The vids were typically lighthearted to match the way I felt about the season.
I thought about dropping one of the vids into a Facebook post today and discovered that Blip.tv has deleted them. I suppose their action is proper anyway, since I pretty much disregarded copyright in my "productions" (thank you btw, NFL.com, tenyardtorrents, google, Adobe Premiere Elements, Audacity, etc., etc.).
Sidenote: I did save a few including my favorite against Baltimore with Phil's crazy, rulebook checking and tying field goal. That featured the memorable interview of Stover by a Baltimore affiliate when they thought they had won the game.
Oh well, it's time to move forward and with that I will be removing the link to the vids from my sig. The timing is proper since we missed the playoffs that year after a loss to the Bengals in the next to last game of the season and next Sunday we will finish our season series with them with a game that has playoff implications.
Peace be with all of you and have a great week!
