I've yet to try a beer from this company that I don't love. As I sit here with my third Commodore Perry of the afternoon, two things come to mind....the 7.5 percent alcohol, and did I mention the 7.5 percent alcohol?

Sounds like you've had more than three if you think this is pure football

right now I'm praying for this to be deleted immediately. Pure football is no place for nonsense, and I apologize. As for your question, the answer is yes.

I love Dortmunder. I bring back 3 cases every time I visit town. Two for me and one for a friend.

Wish I could buy the stuff around here.

If you ever get a chance to go to the brew pub ask if they have any of the beer they age in bourbon barrels. They do limited batches so they don't always have it but when they do it's very good.

I know Jack Daniels sells thousands of oak barrels a year....mostly to Scotch makers....don't know if they sell any or many to brewers.

I don't know where the barrels came from I just know that brew is aged in bourbon barrels and it's good. I'm not sure if they use the same name each time but the time I had it the name was Rackhouse.

Hey Shepster!

There's another great American Beer line called "Arrogant [censored]", trust me on this I travel to Europe a lot and often look for that little extra myself.

They've got great marketing too.

D lb. D...

boy, it sure seems like they're missing out on a huge market...with all the midwesterners vacationing and retiring in Fla, i woulda thought they'd distribute it down there for sure...

plus, not much in the way of great local brews down there, if i recall...

OK I checked the site Black out Stout is a limitied 4 pack in February/March stout. I was confusing it with Nosferatu link which is a fall release. Both are 4 packs.

The Rackhouse is a pub exclusive. Here's a link to those. pub I have seen some of the exclusives in bottles like the Brown Ale, the Aniversary Ale and the Locktender Lager.

Correct, but if I recall correct, the black out stout in the four packs are just the regular brew (not that there is anything wrong with that! it is one of my favorite stouts). I think the bourbon barrell is a pub exclusive just like the rackhouse. I have not had the rackhouse, but if its anything like all the others, i'm sure its great!
