Thats the part that scares me about tablets.
I recently bought a Galaxy Note 10.1, and it scares me that in a year or 2 the battery life will be crap, which would make for an expensive peice of waste then.
I hope the batteries in these thigns are better than the batteries I seem to get in my cordless drills that don't hold a charge for more than a day aftre about 6 months.

And why is it, that a new replacement battery never seems to have the life of the original. It's like what I call the light bulb syndrome. The light bulb that came with the fixture lasted 7 or 8 years, since the original burned out, the replacements only last about a year.

We really are a disposable society. They need to make better efforts at providing recycling services for all these electronics.
