I just feel as Browns fans we need to thank Joe Flacco for getting as much cash as he could to hamper the Ravens ability to sign their own free agents and keep the rest of their team together... so from all Browns fans and new Cleveland Brown Paul Kruger... thanks Joe

Hopefully, Kruger WON'T follow in the footsteps of the other "great players" that left Baltimore for bigger, better contracts...Hmmm, let me see, How's Bart Scott, Ed Hartwell, Adalius Thomas and the rest of the F/A's that have left faired since leaving the Ravens???? Oh, I forgot also , Phil Savage, Dave Zastudil, Zibby, Redding (only player who's team to go to playoffs last year) and the list goes on. Normally I just sit back and watch this page but I'll say this, "Buyer Beware" !!!!!

Zast did all right when he was healthy. I thought Thomas faired pretty well in New England when he was there. That's fair about the others.

I think the Devil is already regretting his acquisition of Modell.

well, sure. despite being in a time when souls were just flying into hell and the place as a whole was extremely profitable for damnation, Art still managed to bankrupt his place in it. so, they moved him and gave him an extra 100million souls to tide him over, but he managed to bankrupt his new place too.

Well the Baltimore defense has so far lost Lewis, Ellorbee, Kruger, Pollard, and may not be able to keep Reed or Williams.... that's a lot to lose especially when you also lost Boldin on the offensive side...
That defense was goign to have a very different feel just with Lewis gone... but there are going to be a ton of new faces.

Your right Jay, it's gonna be a "brand new world" for that Defense but here's something else I'm going to think about, The defense was ranked near the bottom on both run and pass defense in the league, so, if anything comes out of this, it should be either a better corps of players OR the beginning of a rebuilding year....
