Hey all. Any of you prior Army guys (maybe other branches too) been to US Army Ranger School? I'm headed out Sunday to enjoy 61 (hopefully that is all) days of fun and was wondering if anyone had any last minute tips or words of advice?
I've already accepted I'll be cold, tired and hungry for nearly all of it, but just Lookin' for some pointers. Thanks.

Take each day as it's own, do not think about how much longer until your done with the full 61 days, just focus on the task at hand and only consider what you have to do to get through today.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

Good luck bro, I spent 10 years as a Ranger. 2nd BN and 75th. Its going to test you physically for sure..I lost a good bit of weight. Memorize the creed before you go...trust me..lol, dont steal food from anywhere...Ri's will know. You will never know the schedule, don't sweat it. you may think you are going to be in the pit for 45 days...but you won't..just don't sweat the schedule. Learn how to pack your ruck tight, when you get there you'll dump everything out, but learn how to repack it quickly and balanced. Staying awake is going to be tough..sleep whenever you're able..there won't be much. I don't want to reveal too much, because Ranger School will be the best time of your life...looking back that is. Main thing is, don't quit...ever, don't allow it to enter your mind, because its usually over from there. Just tell yourself you're not quitting until victory pond. Feel free to PM me if you have some specific questions, I'll be glad to help,

Make sure to have a hearty helping of babies every morning.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

I can't give any advice other than "listen to what the others" in this thread that have been there have said.
What I can offer is "Good luck, best wishes, and thank you."
