admit it,sometimes if you cook fried chicken you get tired of cooking it at home. At least I do.
well when I get a taste for fried chicken,my favorite spot is Popeyes. Their biscuits are nice and buttery and not as dense as KFCs. Their mashed potatoes and gravy blows KFCs out of the water. and Popeyes chicken is more flavorful and cheaper than KFCs.
Mr.Chicken is okay. But again it doesn't deliver the taste like Popeyes.
Theres a place up in Sandusky called Lee's Famous Recipie on Milan Rd. they used to be all over the place. Lee's is pretty darn good.

I'm actually not a true fried chicken fan. I don't really like eating meat directly off the bone.
I suppose Burger King's chicken sandwich is fried, deep fried. So it would be that. I know, lame-o.

Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches. Great food, cheap and I love their lemonade. Not to mention the employees are always very friendly and nice.

I agree. I love Chick-Fil-A. Their food is excellent, the chicken is always juicy and tasty, and they have the friendliest staffs in all of fast food.
They do it all very well, and just as importantly, they do it well every single time.
I honestly cannot remember ever having them make a mistake, or getting less than excellent food there.

I like Popeyes, but there isn't one close to me unless I wanna get on the turnpike and head east or go to Maple heights from Aurora..
KFC used to be the best but you are right, they suck... Inconsistent taste, inconsistent gravy.. They gotta be lying when they say that it's the original recipe.. it just can't be..
We go with Mr. Chicken because near us, it's the best available choice.. There was a little italian place in Solon that used to make great fried chicken but they went out of business about 20 years ago... It used to be right next to where the Pizza Hut is now.
Some of these places that make good Chicken wings should probably try making bigger pieces...

One thing I have noticed about KFC is that they seem to dig out the smallest pieces they can find for their buckets. I order a breast meal, and I get a huge chicken breast. I order a bucket, and I get these tiny pieces of chicken. It really doesn't make it worthwhile to buy the buckets IMHO.
Their chicken is usually decent to good ...... but the size is extremely inconsistent.

Chick Fil A has a great great product. Their milkshakes are the best in the industry. Very clean.Spotless. and how can you not like the big cow that shows up once in a awhile.
I bet their DM's go through their eateries with a fine toothed comb.
they are hard to pass up if you see one.

Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich Followed by chicken wings, preferably spicy or "crispy crunchy". I've only really had KFCs fried chicken so I can't make any dramatic comparison. There is a promotional version here in thailand "Dai Larb" flavor, with northern spices. It is pretty good

Do you guys have Wingstop in Ohio? It's great, chicken wings in a variety of different flavors. Bone in or boneless.

Oddly, my favorite is Wendy's chicken sandwiches. LOVE how crispy they are.
KFC is too damned greasy - same with Popeyes. And in the 2 times (2 different locations) I've had Chik-Fil-A, I found them to be blah. Not a fan. And McD's sucks. Burger King chicken sandwiches are my backup to Wendy's.

Again, too far to go, Popeyes is good, but not THAT much better to drive an extra 15 minutes to get.

I do love Wendy's Grilled Chicken Sandwich. (Only with mayo instead of honey mustard)
Their fried chicken sandwich is really good too,
Once upon a time, Arby's had a great chicken sandwich ....... but then they went to that "all natural" chicken, and it tasted dry to me. They still haven't recovered IMHO.
I like Popeyes chicken once in a great while. It's decent. It's just too damn crispy to me. It's got way too much breading on it ...... at least the times I've had it.

I don't eat much fast food any more. However, when I'm in a hurry and don't have time to sit and eat at a restaurant, I'll go for Wendy's grilled chicken sandwich as well (substitute BBQ sauce for the honey mustard). Couple that with a small chili and an iced tea and I'm good until dinner.

My days of eating whatever I want, what you show there or bologna cups, are over. I'm left with only bland, unfried foods foods and if it sounds like red meat, it probably has turkey in front of it's name.
The Wendy's grilled chicken mentioned above isn't too bad.

Oh don't get me wrong... I'd definitely love to eat that (if it were up to me, bacon would be it's own food group). However, I would pay dearly for doing so!

I had turkey bacon the other night.
I'm not sure what part of the bird, bacon comes from, but it ain't the tasty part.

Yeah, I gotta say Wendy's spicy chicken is really good. I only have it once in a while. I do love their grilled wraps. Not bad, and not horrible for you.

I'm surprised no one has said Raising Cane's. Their chicken fingers are pretty good, and the sauce the serve with them is amazing. Also, their meal comes with Texas toast, yum!

KFC changed their cooking methods to where their fried chicken is extremely greasy now. Their mashed and gravy is still good as hell, and their sauceless hot wings are real good.
For chicken sandwiches or chicken strips, i love Chick Fil A

Cane's is good, but I prefer Zaxby's to Raising Cane's. Chik-fil-a is right up there too. Popeye's is ok and KFC is alright.

Guy I work with says Milich's Village Inn in Barberton is the best for fried chicken. On his birthday he takes a 2.5 hour trek (each way) there for dinner. Have not tried it, but will when I next a chance.

Milichs is pretty damn good!
I forgot to include "Barberton" style chicken, like Milichs. I love Fiesta Pizza and Chicken (but only for the chicken, the pizza isn't that great) and Rocco's Pizza (very good chicken but the pizza is a Cuyahoga Falls institution!)

I didn't know they existed up north, there's a few locations around here but never saw one when heading north.
Definitely the best chicken strips around.
