I don't know how hard it would be to do, or even if it's something that'd be used.
But another message board I post on, has a UBB code to where you can tag posters in a post. Then if someone tags you in a post, you get a PM alerting you.
If it is something quick and easy to add, might be worth looking into.
Just a thought.

Like, basically, if I'm in a thread and I want to mention you, I could 'tag' you.
I could say "Well, like YTownBrownsFan (and it'd come up like a hyperlink, and you'd get a notification that you were tagged) said...."
Basically, it would let you know someone is trying to get your attention to a thread lol.

Back in my day, you had to walk 5 miles up hill both ways in ten feet of snow just to make a post!

Around for? He caused the ice age. One larger than normal gaseous expulsion ..... and it was instant climate change.
