I find that odd...he was active Sunday and not listed on the injury report.

Anyone know the injury?

Maybe Phil Taylor will be back this week?

He got hurt in the game. A knee, I believe.

Neck injury according to this...

Either we bring someone up, or activate Phil, hopefully he is ready and 100%.

Browns placed DE Emmanuel Stephens on injured reserve, ending his season.
Stephens never returned to the game last week after sustaining a neck injury in the first half. A rotational end, Stephens had been the Browns' most productive per-play pass rusher this season. They need Jabaal Sheard to step up in the second half.

I think this is going to be a problem for us.

I like Stephens...he has played well this year as a backup.

Sanford is nowhere near the DE that is Stephens.

I realllllllly want to see Winn line up at DE.

Knee .... neck ..... they're close.

I think that Winn will get some snaps at DE when Taylor and Rubin are both back on the field.

Quite the curious statement...

They are close... in that song (in time, not distance).

I would like Winn to get some time at RDE; get Sheard, Taylor, Rubin, and Winn at once could be quite disruptive.

I think we will be debating Moore, Werner or Montgomery come draft day. Very strong DE class about 8 deep in guys that should be starters. I hope we give Winn a shot at DE, I think he can do it especially with Rubin and Phil with Hughes rotating in.

If we dont go DE, it is probably a debate between Reid the FS or Jonathon Banks corner.

I'm with the emerging voices that would like to see Wynn take a stab at DE. He seems every bit as active as Stephens was, and I viewed Stephens as some hybrid between Rucker and Parker. I could be way off base there, but it couldn't hurt to try.

I would never take a 4-3 linebacker in the top 20. They are like guards, can find them anywhere.

Dead Wrong! LB's like Manti Te'o and Jarvis Jones can't be had after the first round or beyond the top ten picks for that matter! Was Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Patrick Willis, Terrell Suggs, Demarcus Ware taken after the first round? These guys are special and are once in a decade type players. However, if we stay with the 4-3 scheme we need to draft Te'o as he's a better fit in this scheme. Jones is a OLB in the 3-4 scheme as he's shown dominance in Todd Grantham's 3-4 at Georgia pass rushing and covering. He's not a DE in a 4-3, its a waste of his talents, he reminds me a lot of Terrell Suggs and D Ware.

Barring injuries I see both of these players as perennial pro bowlers. Hell when was the last time a LB (Te'o) was mentioned as a serious candidate to win the Heisman? Its never been done and i think if he keeps playing well theres a good chance it can happen!

Dont underestimate these two they take over games and will at the next level..

Emmanuel Stephens is the type of player I like to see. He overacheived and became a solid contributer out of obscurity.
After Marcus Benard, had to leave the team and that after he led the team in sacks, it stinks to see Emmanuel Stephens have to sit the rest of the season... especially after that fumble he caused that Winn took back, to secure, (partially secure) the win over the Bengals.

Oh, And these last couple of responses.

More Proof this board just needs a 365 and 1/4 days a year forum on the Roster,/ players to sign-draft.

It would probably just overload ther bandwith, with about 5K GM's on here.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
