Donald Trump teases ‘very big news’ about Obama on Wednesday
By Meena Hart Duerson / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
The Donald is still trying to trump Obama.
Real estate tycoon and armchair political analyst Donald Trump pushed his way back into the campaign cycle on Monday, promising to disrupt the election with a "very big" revelation about the President on Wednesday.
"Stay tuned for my big Obama announcement," Trump wrote on Twitter, following it up with a later tweet in which he told followers to "just wait and see!"
"It's very big. Bigger than anybody would know," he later told "Fox & Friends," hinting it could "possibly" change the election.
Michael Cohen, an executive at the Trump Organization who serves as special counsel to "The Apprentice" host, declined to shed any more light on the announcement, reiterating only that it would be "very big."
The move is Trump's latest in a two-year effort to inject himself into the race for the White House, in which he twice flirted with running for office himself and brought the "birther" conspiracy to fever pitch by publicly questioning the existence of Obama's birth certificate.
That confrontation ended with Trump as the butt of many jokes after the President posted his long-form birth certificate on the White House website in April, and then mocked the mogul at the White House Correspondents dinner, suggesting Trump could now focus important issues like "did we fake the moon landing."
Trump ultimately endorsed Mitt Romney, and his camp says he and the GOP nominee are in close contact.
"Mr. Trump remains an important and strong surrogate of the Governor's," Cohen told the News, adding "they continue to speak on a regular basis."
When asked about Trump's impending "announcement" and his close ties with Romney, a spokesman for the Obama campaign simply sent the Daily News a link to a White House bumper sticker emblazoned with the President's face against his birth certificate and the words "Made in the USA."
Trump might not be the only familiar press-hungry face shaking up the political scene this week.
Drudge Report creator Matt Drudge suggested on Twitter last week that celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred is working on an "October surprise" for Romney, writing, "After all, it's her time of the campaign. Team O at the ready!!"
But Allred is keeping mum at this point, telling the Daily News, "No comment."
Though Trump vows to stay mum on his surprise on Wednesday, he can't seem to stop expressing his opinions on anything and everything via Twitter, where he's racked up nearly 1.6 million followers by weighing in on Chris Brown and Rihanna's relationship, giving advice to "Twilight" actor Rob Pattinson that he "can do much better" than girlfriend Kristen Stewart, bashing the BBC and Yankees slugger A-Rod, and criticizing the way vaccines are administered.
"He does all the tweets himself," Cohen said of Trump's active Twitter habit. "If it's something that's in the news and something that he has knowledge of and a belief in, you can bet your bottom dollar it could certainly wind up Twitter."
The only thing he hasn't tweeted about yet is whether or not he wishes he was running against Obama instead of Romney, but Cohen suggests Trump has no regrets.
"Mr. Trump's popularity is enormous and I'm certain that he would have been formidable in the election process," Cohen said. "But he truly loves what he does, and one thing I can tell you is he's happy where he's at right now."
Trump is the master of hype. Unfortunately, he has become a bit of a caricature of himself and whatever his "big" news is, will get downplayed just because its from him.

All other aspects of this administration aside, this is the one that gets me most. Never have I seen a leader of a world power so lacking in decorum and class. Sure, those are fun and cheeky responses if you're an average Joe, but those are hardly the types of public responses I expect from the leader of the free world. Sadly, however, that is the level of "statesmanship" that we've come to expect. Amateur, and low-class.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
The first one I'm okay with. It's not like that was at the UN. Just some lame dinner and it was a cheesy zinger. The second one; fire your campaign spokesman. Too sophomoric and overly simplistic.
Politicians are puppets, y'all. Let's get Geppetto!
1) you have to follow him on twitter. 2) you will be inundated with tons of Trump promotional tweets about his Products/Shows. 3) the surprise will be that he believes that Obama's birth certificate is fake.
The next Celebrity Apprentice will include Obama, where he will compete against other politicians in contests of business concepts and marketing. Watch as in week one Obama gets "Fired" after the "Hot Dog Vendor" challenge, because his team fails to maintain a budget or produce a reasonable profit when his team decided to give hot dogs away to beggars, and insist Wall Street bankers to pay fines for not eatting the hot dogs.

We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

Daily mail.uk has already run an article that a money guy named Douglas Kass tweeted that Trump found divorce papers between the pres and Michelle from 2000.

So, Obama had a rough spot in his marriage..How dare he! If this is actually true they should be commended for working it out.
I would agree with that.
I don't see any potential divorce as being anyone's business except those involved. They seem to have worked it out, and that's great. It's wonderful that they worked things out.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
If this is it, totally a non-story. The man is really reaching to get his name in the spotlight again. So, the Obama's had some troubles in their marriage 12 years ago. The certainly seem to have worked it all out. (Unlike Trump, who keeps trading in his wife for a younger model, literally)
If that's what his news is, the GOP should distance themselves from him and either make no statement about or simply state they're happy to see a couple give their marriage a shot and continue to do so...sticking to their family values.
Quote: Trump's claiming his big news isn't the supposed divorce story.
If it were anything big I'm sure Trump would have announced it as soon as he found out.
The problem with hyping something like this so much is that the outcome rarely lives up to the hype... so something that may have been rather interesting ends up being dismissed because it's not as exciting as you thought it was going to be.
... or, in Trump's case, it ends up being nothing more than a baseless attack that is more of a publicity stunt than anything else. Remember his "investigation" into Obama's birth certificate?
He's a clown... a very RICH clown... but a clown nonetheless.

Donald Trump has made a fortune out of purposely surrounding his building projects with controversy.. if the code says it can't be over 35 floors, he designs it to 40 and then fights with the city over it, creating press and controversy... this is his MO... to create buzz and controversy, that's what he's good at. Unfortunately in politics people are wise to him so it isn't nearly as effective as it used to be.
Donald Trump today pledged $5 million to a charity of President Obama's choice, provided the president makes public his college applications and transcripts and releases his passport history, a far cry from the October-surprise bombshell Trump had promised.
Calling the offer a "major announcement," Trump released a video via Twitter at noon to much ballyhoo, and his online followers grew by the hundreds in the moments before the video was released.
"I have a deal for the president," Trump said. "If Barack Obama opens up and gives his college records and applications, and passport application and records, I will give to a charity of his choice, a check immediately for $5 million."
