Hey purp,

It looks like the latest version of this software will support tapatalk when it comes out. Version 7.6. if i read the change log right.

Any plans for upgrading to the latest version? A mobile theme would be awesome.

I'm assuming that Tapatalk is something for mobile users?

There is no intention to upgrade at all. Any thoughts on upgrading must take into account that the look and feel of the site MUST be able to be maintained as it is, while at the same time allowing for all of the changes to things that have happened since this version was released (which is quite significant as they completely re-wrote the CSS and templating system). This means that a custom template set has to be created that works in the new versions that EXACTLY replicates the old look and feel... and that is an undertaking that I just am not prepared to engage in at this time.

It is a thought that has rattled around in my head for the last couple of years, but time, willingness, and available free time have not converged favorably.
Perhaps after St. Paddy's, when I'll have free time again.

yeah it is...its kinda like a 'one place to go to read your forums' type thing.

You log in, and then sign in to all your forums....it's all a mobile theme obviously.

I bought it for another forum to try it out, and tried to add this one. Like i said it's not supported until the above version.

I didn't know if upgrading was something that you had to do anyway for security or whatnot. If you did then i think you just install a plugin, and you have a mobile page format.

I'm usually in front of my computer when I check the boards..I can do it on my phone, but it's difficult to read.

I can certainly understand the time standpoint. You don't need to explain .

Just thought I would make you aware of it, because it's pretty slick.
