Why did this get deleted? I read the Rules of the Pound before posting it and I didn't notice anything in the article in regards to rumors, swearing, or anything like that.

Not upset in the least, just curious, that's all.

Isn't the OBR site a pay site? If so, that would be why it was deleted.

It's similar to espn. Some basic articles are readily available while some others offering 'insider info' are behind a pay wall.

IIRC, the OBR has never been allowed here, I don't recall the explanation though.

I believe that the OBR had asked that their articles not be posted here.

Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

Ah. I thought I read some time ago that OBR links weren't allowed here. Just couldn't remember the reason.

I'm pretty sure you're right on that one. I seem to remember the back and forth but I wasn't 100% it was OBR. But with someone else confirming it, I'm pretty sure that's what it was.

Wasn't it Art (can't totally remember the name) from Bernie's Insiders that requested that we not link to his site?

He used to post here intermitantly back in the day.

I've been ranting about the Browns for too long. I need a new hobby.

What was the reason for that ...do you know?

The article posted wasn't a pay article, and I would think they would love the free advertisement since they do have a pay section.

IIRC, they didn't mind if a link was posted to their articles, with just the first paragraph posted .... or something like that ...... but they wanted people to read the articles on their site.

It's been a long time since then.

They do control the rights to their articles by copyright, so maybe the powers that be just don't want to have to deal with it and make a mistake and get PPE sued or something.

They don't get paid for clicks on their ads if people are reading it from here.

Actually, the problem stemmed from bad blood between the Browns' front office and the owner of that site. Both sides said we couldn't link to their "articles". That ended some time back, and it had nothing to do with this board, although it carried over for a while.

Please feel free to repost the article. This was discussed between the Ref's yesterday and it's okay to link to the OBR for articles.

There is a thread up, I think it's called something about 30 for 30, anyway one of the responses in that thread had a link to the O&B report, I clicked the link, read the article, thought it was ok, went back to the thread to comment and danged if that post with the link in it wasn't removed..

I went out, then back into that thread then posted.

I can only assume that the post was deleted because of the reference to the O&B Report article as I didn't see anything else that might have caused it.

Not asking to be difficult, just don't understand.. when that happens, it's easy to make the same kinda mistake..

No. It was not an O&B report, it was a Bleacher Report article.
