We couldn't muster much excitement over the NFL's new ad campaign, "My Team." Sure, there's some new womenswear apparel involved, but most of it is of the sports jersey variety (i.e. not our jam). But turns out the NFL has picked some pretty awesome football fans to model their favorite jerseys, including HuffPost Style fave Condoleezza Rice! In her modeling debut, the former Secretary of State wears a fitted brown jersey of her favorite team, the Cleveland Browns. To the NFL's credit, they've got their models styled fairly well: complementing Condi's jersey is a classic beige trench, a bright orange scarf and a delicate necklace. Nothing too flashy, but more "fashion" than a foam finger and some beer goggles. Rice posted her modeling shot on Facebook, writing, "Supporting the NFL and showing my passion for the Cleveland Browns!" Not only is it a pretty fun gig for Rice, but it's a nice little gift to her fans -- after all, we won't be seeing a Romney-Rice ticket as we once imagined. Plus girl looks good in a jersey. Kinda makes us want to buy our own... Check out Rice's glamorous model shot below. link Total fluff piece but I love seeing the Browns getting some love from somewhere

That is one sexy woman. She is also brilliant. I would love to be able to sit down and talk with her for an hour or 2.

I don't vote.
But I might vote just to say I vote because their a Browns fan.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

You don't vote which is what it is, but please don't ever complain about who gets into office..
I vote, I make mistakes just like everyone else. But by voting, you at least make the effort to get it right.

If I don't vote then I can complain no matter who wins... if you vote and your guy wins, then you can't complain... he's just leaving his options open.

“I don't vote. Two reasons.
First of all it's meaningless; this country was bought and sold a long time ago. The stuff they shovel around every 4 years *pfff* doesn't mean a thing.
Secondly, I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around – they say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain', but where's the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people into office who screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with.”

do you really want to defend your thinking by quoting a comedian?
Vote, don't vote, Frankly I don't care, but if you don't, don't come cryin to me when things go south because you didn't participate,
you don't have any right to cry about it. You didn't do your part to change things or to elect a reasonable person (not that I think we have much of a choice this time or really even the last number of elections)
But basically, I can't believe anyone would actually quote a comedian to prove a point. and this coming from a Carlin fan. Thought provoking guy.. I loved his shows. But damn it, he's a freakin comedian.

She's extremely smart, powerful yet humble, she's in great shape ....... and she's a super proud Browns fan.
There's more than one kind of sexy. There's naturally sexy women, who just have it, and don't need to force it in any way ....... the cheap, tawdry type of sexy that is forced by skimpy clothing and trashy actions .......... the more sophisticated sexy ...... and mature sexy.
Each has its own appeal at times.
She's definitely sophisticated and mature sexy.

He may be a comedian, but a large part of my views on life were shaped by his standup. He's a guy that "taught" me to think for myself.

So obviously you do care, because if you didn't, then you wouldn't have made a comment.

So if there are no reasonable people to vote on, what's the point in voting, and telling people they have to vote?

Just because something is said in a certain way (joking, sarcastic) doesn't mean it can't be a tangible thought...
Here's the thing:
I don't vote.
Because I don't care.
I don't plan on complaining about what the new/current president is/does.
Because I don't care.
But if going and voting for Ron Paul means my opinion is more "validated" well, to me that's just silly.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

So you don't mind the minority choosing what is "right" for you ? IMO it is dangerously stupid to think like you do . It is the DUTY of all Americans who can vote to vote . The way things have gotten the way they are is because people just flat out don't care. Now if there is a law enacted that offends them say if you get caught texting and driving you lose your license forever ( a good idea IMO ) then you and people like you would be doing alot of hand wringng and crying . I don't get angry at your kind of thinking ...disgusted would be a better word .

This just irks me. If someone doesn't vote (and I have refrained from voting), I'll feel free to complain as loudly as anyone else so long as they forcibly take my money in the form of taxes.
