Maybe that is what i am talking about.....trade up to #3 or #5 for #22 and next years #1 and a 4th.
Then trade our #2 and #3 to get back to around 30.
We end up with 3 1st rounders...#4,#5 and maybe #29 or 30.
Then with the remaining, trade up as much as possible.
If we are going to go with Colt and try to give him some weapons, then dangit, do it.
Richardson Blackmon RT, best on the board.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

Would be interesting, but my fear is that if Colt doesn't pan out even with those weapons, then you have no room to get Barkley next year (and worse, that #1 could be #1).
I actually hope the Vikes leave Kalil for us (taking him should be a no brainer if he's there at #4) and then go WR/RB/DE or CB with the next 3 picks.

For the 1st round:
at 4 (up to 15 in a trade down):
No real WANT guy
I'm good with: Claiborne, Tannehill, Blackmon, TR and Cox....in that order
Don't want (as the 1st pick in a trade down scenario): Floyd, Perry, Branch, Poe
Be "ok" with (as the 1st pick in a trade down scenario): Reiff, Kirkpatrick, Upshaw, Barron
Torn on/meh (as the 1st pick in a trade down scenario): Coples, Gilmore, Kuechly, DeCastro, Ingram, Mercilus
at 22
I'd like: Weeden, Curry, Sanu, Reiff, J.Martin, Barron, Upshaw, Kirkpatrick
Be "ok" with: Ch.Jones, McClellin, Hightower, D.Martin, Ingram, DeCastro, Kuechly
Torn on/meh: K.Wright, Randle, Glenn, Fleener, Coples, Mercilus / Floyd, Zeitler, Hill, Wagner, Z.Brown, L.David,
Don't want: Perry, Branch, Poe, Adams, J.Jenkins, Massie, any other RB, any DT
That should cover all 1st round possibilities, pick 22 is a very delicate selection for me, lots of potential to get upset....will do the same lists for day 2 and 3 the upcoming days.
I would be interested to read other poster's "tiers" as to my 4 category ranking (Want, ok, meh, Dont)

Real easy, Luck and Griffin are gone, and it is a QB focused league, Tannehill is next it line.

I would not draft Tannehill in the 1st round.
You'd be hard pressed to find someone who places more of an importance on the Quarterback position. I'm not one of those "Build the team first" guys. I think if you can get your QB, you get him, period.
But, Tannehill is a guy I wouldn't touch til at least the 2nd round.

True. This bunch needs to win this year. If next years pick is #1, what do they care if the team doesn't have a pick?? They will all be out on the streets.

Who you THINK the Browns will pick in rounds 1-4?
1a) Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama 1b) Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech 2) Brandon Weeden, QB, Oklahoma State 3) Mitchell Schwartz, OT, California 4a) James-Michael Johnson, ILB, Nevada 4b) Jamell Fleming, CB, Oklahoma
I might not have gotten them all in order but I'd consider getting 4/6 of our picks right a success
We're... we're good?

Wow! That's amazing!
I thought I was doing pretty good with Richardson/Weeden at one point ...... but you really nailed it.
I assume that you must be pretty pleased with the draft so far then. lol
