I would say this is exactly how I feel...except since I've already felt that way for so long, I don't even bother with season tickets. It's a waste of time and money.
I can leave the bar early when we're down 20 points and/or decide to just do yard work instead when we're inevitably 2-10. All for about $10 a game.
Mike is spot on yet again.
Fear us, for we are the BROWNS, led by the mighty BM! Only in Cleveland.
His two "Hastily Made Cleveland Tourism" videos are pretty funny, as well as his online "Man In The Box" series of mini-episodes. They're rated PG-13 for language, so I can't post them here, but you can find them on Youtube.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

He's more creative than the Browns have been on offense in quite some time .......

Just some general comments about the "Factory of Sadness" fad and those who associate themselves with the phrase.
When I see the words "Factory of Sadness"...I think about the individuals who associate themselves with that phrase...
...what weak, negative, helpless people they must be.
...I picture people who have never done anything difficult in their lives and have no clue what it means "to sacrifice" for a goal.
...I see people who are looking for sympathy, people who cry easily, hoping their tears will influence others to join them in their misery.
...I figure those looking to be associated with the words "Factory of Sadness" ...must be depressed people who are not happy until everyone else is just as unhappy and depressed as they are.
...I see people who are never satisfied..people who always find fault.
This whole "Factory of Sadness" fad...disgusts me...
You're right mac, 2 winning seasons and a 0-1 playoff record since 1999 is a factory of joy. Geez get a grip, it's a freaking joke. Did you even watch the original video? He rants and complains and whines and then says "See you Sunday."

This post is a factory of sadness.
No, seriously, I feel bad for people who take everything in life so serious.
I'm going to ignore your thinly veiled attacks and put-downs (not that I give a flying rip what you think about me anyway) but I wear the "Factory of Sadness" sig as a badge of honor because of it's humor, creativity and truth.
We ARE a factory of sadness. Every draft. Every FA period. Every coaching & FO hire/fire. Every roster purge/rebuild. Every "newest" QB. Every 4 win season.
It's only caught on because it's SO DISGUSTINGLY TRUE!
Loving the Browns (and I do love the Browns) is akin to being in an abusive relationship. Everyone around you looks at you and asks "why in the WORLD are you still putting up with that?". You yourself even know it's a wretched, god-forsaken situation that isn't healthy. But....you love them and can't imagine the world without them...so despite everything you stay anyway.
I'll never stop loving/caring for/cheering for the Browns. But I'm also not dumb enough to ignore the fact that we're a laughing stock of a franchise with no "end of the tunnel" in near sight. Due to this, it causes much "sadness" for all of those who care about this team. It's almost like this franchise PRODUCES sadness on a yearly basis.
Yes, Factory of Sadness indeed.
Fear us, for we are the BROWNS, led by the mighty BM! Only in Cleveland.
If someone doesn't feel sad about the hopeless manner in which this team has conducted itself for the past 20 years or so, then they either have no heart, or they aren't really a fan of the Browns.
There was a time where "Cleveland Browns" and "Winning, Excellence, and Tradition" were synonymous. Now we have become the punchline to national jokes. If that doesn't make a fan sad, then I don't know what would. Personally it rips my heart out every year when we finish in some hopeless morass of bad choices by the team, poor coaching, and horrible play by our players. Like a dummy though, I am there straight on through .... never even taking a break ..... ready for more .... and hoping against hope that this year will be different .... even when I have zero reason to expect that it will be.
Yep, factory of sadness is entirely appropriate. If the Cleveland Browns don't like it, then feel free to change. I'd be all for that.

This.
It's unfortunate that you (mac) get that worked up over what someone else is wearing, about a football team no less.

It's more like satire ..... and satire only hurts because of the biting truth behind it.

This past year was the first year I actively did not even try to watch all the games. I think I didn't see a single minute of the last 5 games, because honestly, there was no point, and I spent my Sundays golfing instead and was much happier.
Those Browns fans who want to associate themselves with the "Factory of Sadness" and the individual who coined the phrase..
...the guy is freaking loser and obviously a wimpy boy looking for attention anyway he can get it...hell, he once kissed a another guy on national TV just to be noticed. The dude reminds me of the baby/kid who cried everytime he did not get his way and mommy and daddy always came to the rescue.
Those of you who choose to be a follower of this loser and his Factory of Sadness attitude...be my guest. He's probably a Steelers fan trying to punk Browns fans into feeling sorry for themselves...and if he's not a Steelers fan...HE SHOULD BE !

At 34, he's had work appear on HBO, TNT, Cinemax, Funny or Die, Telemundo, etc. and his YouTube work has become such a sensation that it continues to land him national work, which is ridiculously hard for a comedian to do, especially considering that he's doing it out of Cleveland. Most comedians who don't base themselves out of New York or L.A., especially early in their careers, get absolutely nowhere. In terms of national recognition, he's probably the biggest comedian to break out of Cleveland since Drew Carey.
Personally, I think he's marginally talented. He's made me laugh, but I don't think he's the greatest. He is, however, still unseasoned, and his success to date is pretty impressive.
I don't know the guy, but he certainly doesn't sound like a freaking loser. This tangent you're on here, however, is another story.
With all due respect - and this in no way means I agree with mac - but, aren't you the same talent judge that called out Larry the Cable guy, saying he was a nothing, worthless, some kind of farmer's kid with no talent or skill?

PDR...you want be the butt of someone's jokes...fine.
You want to associate yourself with the term "Factory of Sadness"...fine.
This Factory of Sadness thing...just what are you people wanting...someone to cry with you?...you want others to feel sorry for you?
This Factory of Sadness thing is not in my DNA...I can't help it if my mother and father promoted a positive attitude in us kids. Nothing positive about the term Factory of Sadness or the wimpy kid who makes some of you the butt of his jokes by dissing the team you claim to be a fan of.
