What's the guy suppose to say? He wants to just sit on the bench all season?? Everyone wants to complete for the starting postions... if they don't they shouldn't be on the team.

Way to parlay our miserable season into a chance at the starting role, Seneca, even though you haven't won a game this season. Not even against Arizona. Yeah, that definitely earns you the right to compete. I'm all for it. Yes siree, Bob.

If we were to hire QB's on their ability to keep us close, we should stick with Colt, possibly rehire Anderson, or maybe check out what BQ is doing. Sad thing is, he'll probably get the shot because he's Chumley's man, and what Chumley wants, Chumley gets.

He doesn't speak for at least one of us, because I'd rather suffer through an entire losing season seeing what RGIII can do than watch one game in 2012 with Seneca at the wheel.

"Wallace said he's not sure why he doesn't receive consideration for the starting job when Browns President Mike Holmgren knows him so well from their Seattle days."

Maybe because of those passes you KEPT throwing late to the right side while the DB and safety was riding the backs of the receivers ? You think ?

Wallace's performance yesterday was the best thing that could have happened for Colt

Yesterday's performance will have nothing to do with McCoy. There was a 40 MPH wind at the stadium. McCoy did nothing against the Steelers earlier. If anything, it showed that neither guy is any good.

Wrong again. It showed what you want to see. If Wallace came out and threw for 400 yards and 3 TD's you wouldn't be singing that tune.

Wallace isn't the guy to start for this franchise, even if it was sunny and 70 every time he takes the field. He is a slightly upgraded and more veteran version of McCoy.

He's a fine backup, but no long term starter.

The thing is, he did have his chances in both seasons.....in preseasons and TC. IIRC, he was awful and definitely not better than McCoy (or Delhomme last year). In his opportunities during the season, he wasn't lights out better than Colt. He had chances to pull out wins against divisional foes and didn't get it done. I don't see where he has an argument.

I don't either ...... but I am glad that he has the drive to want to be a starter.

I wish he also had the ability and talent to be a starter. Hel, I wish any of our QBs had the talent and ability to be a long term, Super Bowl quality starter.
