Wow, and it won't be out til a year from now . . . Can't wait to see Smaug . . .  2012 is going to be a major year for movie geeks. Too bad the world is coming to an end . . .

This all happened before Lord of the Rings.
They have all the same actors except for a younger guy playing younger Bilbo. But they even brought back the original, older Bilbo to introduce the story, it would seem.
And then there are characters that are introduced for the first time . . .
