I actually just quit my 13-year fantasy football habit. It's actually been a great feeling so far.
No more...
- Having a 30-point lead going into MNF and watching the only remaining starter on the opposing team get 31 points (most of the points in the 4th quarter).
- Over-thinking which QB to start...only to start the one that ends up having a negative week while the guy on my bench threw for 400+ yards and 5 TD's
- Dealing with the guys that pull for their fantasy team harder than their real team they've followed since childhood. And then cry about their bad luck.
- Paying for CBS.Sportsline. I know they did a good job, but come on. It was like $20 extra per guy in our league.
- Arguing with the other coaches about what the ideal tiebreakers are for individual games, divisional winners, and wildcard or playoff seeding
- Having to root for players on other AFC North teams (I know, don't draft them....but if you need a RB and Ray Rice is there, you draft him period).
I'm just a football fan now. Reality, all the way (well, as much "reality" as watching grown men in colored uniforms play a sport for millions of dollars is defined as "reality").
Even if I went 7-7 in our 14-game season. I only remembered my 7 losses. Sounds familiar.

Any other FF losers....errr, coaches thinking about quitting to raise their enjoyment factor of the NFL season?
