If Mike Tyson, or better yet, Lennox Lewis, or maybe some other Big name boxer was to step in the UFC ring would they stand a chance?

It depends on who they were up against. MMA is very match-up oreinted and most of the fighters are multi-dimensional in their skills. I am sure the boxers could knock anybody out just as they could be knocked out by most.

Any boxer can win a match in the UFC or other MMA's if they catch someone, but to be a dominate fighter in UFC, Pride or other MMA organizations they would need more than thier boxing training. The most well rounded fighters in MMA are trained in Boxing, Muay Tai, Kick Boxing and BJJ.

GSP injured his knee in January. As soon as he is healthy Sera will get his title shot.

that was a crappy main event. sylvia must feel like garbage after getting his ass beet by a 43 year old man. I was wishing couture would just knock him out and get it over with. that would have suited sylvia, more than the long painful ass beating. I just couldn't believe how slow and out of shape sylvia was. it looked like he was fighting in slow motion.

Anybody pay per viewing UFC 68 tonight from Nationwide Arena??

I just got back from c-bus after a weekend at the Arnold and then UFC. One of the best week ends ever. I recommend a UFC event to anyone...I am a die hard MMA fan but some of people I went with have never even seen a UFC event....We all had an outstanding time. The only draw back was dropping 9$ a beer at Nationwide and trying to find a cab-ride to the hotel...Other than that...It was absolutely amazing. I cant even being to explain how much better it is live than on PPV. If anyone ever has the chance to go to one....trust me...go.

I agree. Shaft and I went and had a great time! If you are a UFC fan, I recommend you go to at least one event. We had floor seats so I was lucky enough to meet Rashad Evans & Andrei Arlovski. I Was hoping Tito would be there. We also saw Lou Forigno (aka The Incredible Hulk) at the Hotel we stayed at.

I LOVED seeing Randy beat Tim Sylvia. The crowd was going crazy!!!

Holy crap your seats were ridicolous. Absolutely ridicolous. I could see AA from where I was sitting but I wasn't on the floor....I'll tell you what though, the UFC puts on a better show and has a better event than anything i've ever been at....Whever you sit for that matter..

Arlovski is my fav fighter so i'm very jealllllous also...

But...Next time the UFC ventures to the midwest or east coast ill be there on the floor you can believe that

Those seats didn't come cheap and it's something we may not be able to do again, but it was worth it. My hope was to meet Tito, but AA was a real nice surprise.

The fighters have no problem with people going down and getting a picture with them between fights. That's one thing I love about the UFC. With any other sport there's no way you get that close to the athletes.
