youtube sucks. and so does google. does anyone have problems logging into youtube/google after creating a new account/and/or changing passwords?

I am not able to log into youtube today for some reason. these are NOT the actual account names/etc and I've changed them for confidentiality reasons.

I created a new account (josh25845) that's linked to my work email (josh@maple.com) because I had problems with another google accounts/youtube account and was trying to unlink that one (jaecht82@gmail.com)

However, that email, josh@maple.com, is already attached to the original account. I use the josh@maple.com and a related password to get into youtube, where I have a username (jaecht82).

I am trying to access youtube under the josh25845 username, but it will not recognize passwords, no matter how many times I reset them. I get the captchas right and I get the reset emails in my josh@maple.com inbox. The reset emails also show that josh25845 and jaecht82 (both youtube usernames) are associated with the maple account.

I'm trying to get into the 25845 account in order to close it. however, I can access the jaecht82 account just fine.

Is this a continuous loop youtube has put in? the accounts are linked and no matter how many times I reset the password, it will not accept it.

Sounds like it's working as intended.

If I understand this correctly:
-jaecht82 was created at some point in the past
-josh25845 was created recently
-both usernames are attached to the same email address
-when you reset your password jaecht works fine but josh does not

Most places won't let you register multiple usernames with a single email(spammers would have a field day with that). I'm surprised it let you register josh at all. Each time you reset the password, it's resetting the jaecht password. If you want to log in with a new id, you'll need a second email address.

Well then, I'd suggest stop using them. I think one can be quite entertaining and the other very informative.

I'm not having any issues with either......
