I just got one of those phone calls you really hate to get. A hysterical child on the other end because someone they love dearly is not doing well. My daughter (AngelDawg) just called about her grandpa on her dad's side. Dan is one of those guys that everyone loves, good sense of humor, big hearted and easy to get along with. Apparently no one knew that he has been very ill until now. He's in the hospital (didn't catch which Akron hospital) and has been diagnosed with septicemia and the dialisys is not working. He has been given a 23% chance of survival.
I sit here with tears in my eyes because my daughter is hurting so bad right now. I have to get my crying done before she gets here because I need to be strong for her even though I am in pain too.
Please keep Dan Conn and his family in your prayers and thoughts.

Thanks everyone.
I just got another phone call. AngelDawg is making arrangements to get up to Ohio so that she can try to spend a little time with him. Dan has taken a turn for the worse and is now on a ventilator. I pray that she is able to see her grandpa one last time.
He is in Barberton Citizens Hospital. I wanted to thank you all again.
