Aside from Deion Sanders calling our offensive line terrible - does he realize we had two pro bowlers and an alternate? - a pretty cool video. Maybe the right side needs some work, but overall it's a pretty good line.

and Yates was good at RG when he was in. really, only RT was a constant issue for us (Womack had a couple good games, but nothing consistent).

how many teams in the NFL would kill to have our OL? at least 20 I would wager.

It's an inaccurate statement by Deion to say our O-line is terrible....however, we do only win 4-5 games per season. Until we shake that low win total, people will think we're garbage (and we are). It doesn't matter how many guys we send to the Pro Bowl.

I would have rather they use an image of Hillis in real action instead of posing with a smile on Times Square. But hey, it's not my game...so I don't get to call the shots.

I didn't mind the garbage comment - it's hard to disagree with that as an overall assessment of the team. I just took issue with him saying our line is terrible when it is not. He is supposed to be an NFL analyst and using those kind of terms about an offensive line that had 2 pro bowlers and an alternate is just not right IMO. He made it sound as if Hillis did all of the running with zero help from the line, which I'm sure Peyton knows is not true.

A blue collar country boy from Arkansas who plays for the Browns so let's do the photo shoot in NY... whatever.

And as for Deion, he doesn't know much about the Browns other than our record, everything else he just assumes he knows... However, there are a lot of people out there like him and the only thing that will change it is to win 10 games...

Yeah, Dion is more concerned with how he looks and sounds rather than actually analyzing a team.

Does that surprise you? He's Deion "Primetime" Sanders. I'd be more surprised that people are suprised to lern he's more style than substance.

I may be the only one on the board that likes him. Though, it's 100% from his playing days. I don't really watch pre-game shows enough to get irrated at him.

I like him on NFL Gameday. When he actually watches film and studies teams he knows what he's talking about. I think the interviewer just caught him off guard. Like others have said, he has no reason to know anything about the Browns.

It's all about flash, pop and marketing... and what better place to do the photo shoot than in NY, outside, the day after the Draft (it also happens to be where he was at because of the Draft and his Letterman appearance)?

None of his surroundings will make it into the photos, so it is all about it being an "event" and not what the backdrop is..... publicity stunt.

Browns is the Browns

... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

What Dion says may hurt, but he's not exactly telling a lie..

I mean, two years at 5-11 should be proof positive we have a long way to go.

I'll agree, he's ont entirely correct about the WHOLE line. The right side needs work no question but from Center going left,,, That's as solid as any in the league.

But overall, the team isn't very good. We'll see what some of the additions we made in the draft will help us accomplish.. Not to mention the new coaching staff etc.

As I said, I don't disagree with his "garbage" comment as a whole; we do suck. Just the o-line part that is untrue that irritated me.
