Hey everyone, after trying customer service, reading over 100 reviews, and still not getting a straight answer from any of them, I figured I would try here, lol. You guys have seemed pretty knowledgeable with every question I've asked in the past.

I'm looking to get one of my friends a pair of PF Flyer shoes( you know the kind that kid had on when he was running from the big dog in sandlot) for his birthday, and I've heard the sizing can be different with these. A lot of the reviewers talked about how they had chuck taylors in size 10's even though they wore everything else in 10.5's(which happens to be my buddy Chris's shoe size). Does anyone have any experience with these kinds of shoes? PF Flyers or Chuck Taylors? I'd imagine someone does.....

I know, I know, it's a weird kind of a question to ask...

Holy Moly. I'm 52 and I wore those when I was a kid. My first thought when I read all this was.. They still make those??

I have many pairs of Chucks. They do run different sizes. I also wear size 10.5. Most of the time they do fit just fine, but I do own a few pairs of size 11. It's really a shoe you need to try on first to make sure they feel right. I have bought a few pairs from Ebay, size 10.5, that run big and feel like clown shoes.

I never owned a pair of PF Flyers though, so I'm sure sure of their sizing issues.

Yeah, I was pretty sure about something like that. I guess I will just get the size that he said and hope for the best. If I get them of zappos.com they also have a 365 day return policy so that is good.

On Saint's comments; That is hilarious, I bet you could never see yourself sporting a pair of those now adays, lol.

I so wanted the built in wedge! But my brothers and I had to settle for the "Man alive, 2 for 5" Picway shoes.
