Met Mr. Beerdowner in the flesh today at Flannery's. Overall a solid day between east 4th and west 6th street.
What did everytone do today?

I'm a bill paying adult...I worked, now spending the evening with my husband and child.

I sat at home and drank Guinness while slowly cooking four pounds of corned beef with some cabbage, carrots, and redskins.
Actually just got done serving. It was amazing. Now some more Guinness and some time spent finishing my latest oil painting.
I wish to wash my Irish wristwatch......

I played some golf this afternoon...won $20....then lost $40 playing dominoes.
Not much of a Irish population in this part of the south, so no parades or anything like that, but as with anywhere else, give a Tennessee boy a reason to Yee Haw, he can do it pretty darn well.
I am sure the downtown pubs and bars are elbow to elbow.
Me, I won't drive after dark if I have had more than one beer or wine, so, here I am.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

Went to work, came home and cleaned my car since my wife and I are watching two of our nieces tomorrow and I've got to drive them around, and have been watching basketball all evening.

Went to work, came home took a nap (long day), then met up for a drink with a friend.

Sorry to continue the boredom but I went to work, then met with my sons English teacher (which might warrant a thread of its own), then went to my daughters soccer practice, went home and made dinner, had one celebration beer by myself and went to bed.
See, my last name is McL... I'm 100% Scottish/Irish... March 17 is my Dad's birthday... he has been gone for close to 20 years now, since I was 24... It isn't the party day for me that it was when I was younger...

I flew from El Paso to Dallas, Dallas to St. Louis, drove two hours to my destination, watched some tournament games, and fell asleep at 8:00.

Went to work too. As an attempt to break up the boredom, I did buy the HTC thunderbolt yesterday.
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!
