Michael Moore has the PERFECT plan to solve our debt problems.....It sounds familiar from our progressive members of the board. Very interesting video.....
I thought I was wrong once....but I was mistaken...
What's the use of wearing your lucky rocketship underpants if nobody wants to see them????
The video does scare me to think that we owe as a nation more than 10 times what the collective richest people in the world are worth. And we are planning on tacking on an extra 10% this year alone if people don't start to understand the concept that every action they do affects everyone else in society.
It's the same attitude of littering, not voting, blowing cigarette or cigar smoke in someone's face, buying a roethlisberger jersy ( ) , or anything else that in the grand scheme of things makes no difference. By doing it no-one notices and it hurts almost no-one, and by not doing it, it can barely fix anything let alone the full system. However, when we see tons of people behaving this way, we start to suffer major consequences.
All that ever goes on here is "this country is going to hell." Moreso than Browns talk.
Come on. We're America. We'll be fine cuz we're Americans in America. Other countries have so many more problems that if we went down, the entire world goes down with us.
Everyone else is essentially partners with us. Kind of like how Donald Trump declared bankruptcy yet is somehow still rich. The bank wouldn't let him fail. Other countries won't let us fail. They have too much invested in us.

It's quite brilliant, if you think about it.
Donald Trump never declared bankrupcy, some of his hotels (or businesses) not sure which declared bankrupcy.

Heh, you should read Newsweek this week. Two articles, one about how the USA is still on top, one about how it's steadily declining. If you look at the worldwide rankings in things like education, we're falling behind ... fast.
Quote: I never have, and I don't think I ever will like Moore..
Dude is off his rocker on so many levels...
we could hire a monkey to shred his routine....
Definitely off his rocker, just like a lot of other people that follow him. And of course, they go on about class warfare being waged from the other side, yet don't see going after the rich as class warfare one bit. They think that we can just tax ourself out of this problem. It isn't working in California, it surely isn't going to work for the entire nation.
"Don't be burdened by regrets or make your failures an obsession or become embittered or possessed by ruined hopes"
I think Michael Moore has more problems to work on (his own) before trying to solve the major problems this country faces with his half baked ideas. It is stylish in some liberal circles to make plans to redistribute wealth to fund welfare programs or pay debt. It is a shame Michael doesn't listen to constructive criticism.
The basic liberal idea is that most people are too stupid or incapable to support or take care of themselves. That's why the "Intellectual Elite" needs to make the decisions for them. I am totally against this. If a person is unable to function due to mental or physical disability, then the government could step in if necessary.
Americans realize control through hand downs from the government results in dependence on the government.
Keep on posting Brother!

Ted Nugent said,"that Davy Crockett shooting at Santa Anna's Army was the right thing to do, he just wouldn't get the Hispanic vote today".

What's really neat is he was so kind as to say "someone else's money" - not HIS.
He loves to distribute others money.
Why didn't he pony up last year and write a check to the IRS for $50 mil or so? After all - it's not "his" money, right? It's the country's.
He's an entertainer who has found a niche that works to pay his bills.
I find him no more or less odious or contemptible as I find Rush Limbaugh and his ilk.
One bloviates for 15 hours per week on the radio to his rabid fans, the other spews his spin in spin-laden 'mockumentaries' all his own drones on the far left.
Flip sides of the same coin. I hate (and routinely ignore) them all.
Don't watch'em, don't listen to'em, don't care what they have to say... because ALL of them will sat whatever it takes to keep their own flock of sheep coming back to the feeding trough.
It's a scam and a business that won't get a moment's worth of my time.
Hucksters... every last one of them. I'll start listening to the likes of Moore and Limbaugh when I see either one of them lift a hammer, shine a shoe, put on a cop's uniform, fix my leaky pipes, waterproof a basement, change my locks, drive me to a destination when my car is in the shop, actually REPAI my car in a shop, or teach a kid how to read.... ANYTHING but sit and talk, talk, talk.
I've heard NOTHING from any of them that I can't get while sitting in the barber shop waiting for my trim... and yet these guys have Dawgs at DT and a million other sites burning up bandwidth discussing the latest thing they've said.
Quite frankly, those of you DT'ers who actually think about a subject and share your thoughts with us stimulate me more than any of these turds do in their highly-paid, non-productive roles. I've seen enough of Mikey Moore in clips to know that I'll never sit through a movie of his- even if it's on my TV's free Video On Demand channel... and I stopped listening to Rush when he was still hocking AOL and those ugly-ass Wembley ties every 5 minutes on his radio show. ago.
I can read the news and think for myself. I don't need even ONE of these dumbasses to tell me what to think about what I've just read.... and yes, I have a built-in 'spin detector' for so-called "news," as well.
In my opinion, pundits (on either side of the divide) have stolen as much from the American public as the politicians they rail against.
Damn... now I'm all p*ssed off at everybody. Again.
Amen to that. Political journalism is polarizing this country worse than the politicians themselves. And people buy into it hook, line and sinker. What a shame.
