Received message saying my post was moved but it actually must have been deleted. Why. It was not offensive. I believe it may have been taken out of context but I was merely just wondering what the politically correct term was now days.

I would appreciate if a Ref. would PM me and I will send them the post if they don't remember deleting it. THANK YOU.

I have no idea why you would feel the need for a poll like that to be quite honest, however, it needs to be set up as a poll in that forum.

Thanks for your response. I don't want a poll, I made a mistake in where I placed it. As you stated why would someone want a poll on such a subject. I referred to a black person as Colored in a diversity class and was later advised by a friend that the reference to a black person as Colored was inappropriate. I just don't understand this because I never heard that one.

I never would have used this term if I knew it was offensive. It just seems what ever term used is offensive. It's not like I have to make a reference to skin color when talking to someone but it was a class and I was asking a question and to be told later that I should not of used a term bothers me. I now feel I need to apologize to the woman but I'm afraid of offending her further ( if she was even offended at all. she never said she was but I don't think she would have said) by bring it up.
