For any SE Ohio Dawgs who happen to be blues fans.. The River City Ohio Blues Competition is this weekend (Friday and Saturday) at the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta. There are links on the Blues, Jazz and Folk Music Societ homepage. My band is competing in the first round tomorrow night. The winner gets through to the International Blues Competition in Memphis next year!

Good luck! My mother went there this past year (she works with the Cleveland Blues Society) and had a great time. Ohio acts (Cleveland in particular) placed extremely well there. Have a good time!

Good luck! Marietta is my home town (my folks still live there). It is a great place to visit, especially if you are staying at the Lafayette.
