I'm declaring shenanigans.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about - Joe Webb is the Minnesota QB of the moment. Yahoo has him listed as a QB,WR for whatever reason... meaning someone can use their regualar QB and use him as a WR/Flex play.... QB's tend to get the most points of anyone in a league so you're in effect playing the system - legally - to screw the league.

I'm in two leagues - playoffs in both, one league I'm going up against this situation the other a "buddy" in another semifinal has him. Had I realized earlier in the week what was up I'd have picked him up and benched him just to block people.

Anyone else dealing with this situation? Again, I declare shenanigans on Yahoo and owners who are doing this.

I picked him up in one league but I'm not starting him at WR. First start vs the Bears D and in that weather? I don't think he's gonna do that good.

I picked him up in my league, so he couldn't be used against me.

Kinda of a weird thing yahoo has allowed, in MLB you see it all the time with players playing more than one spot, NBA has alot of players playing multiple positions, the NFL really only has WR and TE eligible at both spots.

not shenanigans. he was brought in as a wide receiver and if someone drafted him as a wide receiver they should be able to use him there. same thing with danny woodhead rb/wr.

The dude has caught ZERO balls all year. He's no more a WR for the Vikings than me - nor has he been at any point this year. You can't compare a WR/RB to a WR/QB... Woodhead is awesome, Webb may blow - but Woodhead doesn't have the ball in his hands literally every play. I've never wished for a player to do worse than I am with this guy tonight so anyone who picked him up to use a loophole gets bitten by it. Yahoo screwed the pooch on this one too allowing it to happen.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it since he was drafted by the Vikings that way. I do think it would be funny if Favre starts over him tonight though since he got changed from out to questionable. That could really screw people who started Webb at WR.

Brett Favre is active for tonight, Adrian Peterson is Inactive, hopefully you have Toby Gerhart, I do.

I just picked up Gerhart on both leagues. I don't have Peterson in either one though. I might need him next week for 3rd place games though.
