Thought it was interesting and clever he tried making that connection with the names. I was afraid he was going to be like those who play word searches in The Bible in order to predict future events. I'm really glad he didn't do that.

p.s. I find it funny that the name of the man who was asked to toil laboriously to build a giant freaking boat and gather two of every animal, means "rest" or "comfort".

I read somewhere, according to ancient Jewish tradition, that the original spoken version of Genesis, spoken as one word with many syllables, and in the original Hebrew language, was supposed to be the Name of God.

Thus God gave us not only His message, but His Name as well ..... which are one and the same.

The Power of the Name, the true name, was at the roots of Kabbalah lore, the ability to produce mighty works of binding and other mystical. I found this interesting, because the mysticism and magic side of what is seldom known from the Jewish tradition is fascinating. Kewl.
