I believe the thread was in the now defunct Gameday forum for the Panthers game about his post-game blowup.
Here's a blurb from a Grossi article today in regard to Derek:
Quote:
Derek Anderson’s infamous post-game meltdown in Arizona Monday night came as no surprise to reporters who covered the quarterback five years with the Browns. Team officials who were his biggest supporters often questioned his mental toughness.
When he was asked once after getting injured whether Josh Cribbs could fill in at quarterback until he was healthy, Anderson snapped, “You guys must be smoking crack.”
Another time, when I blogged something critical about Anderson’s uncommonly bad Pro Bowl outing, he asked a PR official for my cell phone number and texted me a couple of cryptic, angry messages. It took a few months for him to get it all off his chest in a face-to-face meeting.
Finally, there was his parting shot to Browns fans, delivered via email to The (Lake County) News-Herald’s Jeff Schudel.
“The fans are ruthless and don’t deserve a winner,” Anderson wrote. “I will never forget getting cheered when I was injured. I know at times I wasn’t great. I hope and pray I’m playing when my team comes to town and [we] roll them.”
The Browns are scheduled to play the Cardinals next season. I sincerely doubt Anderson will get his wish. I think he’s finished in Arizona.
I know most have probably seen it by now, but here it is.
I love it, hilarious. I remember there used to be a lot of messages on these boards about his smiles after bad plays and so forth, and how it was questioned whether or not he cared.
Delhomme, may suck. Wallace may be better (I definitely think so), but you can't argue that we have upgraded the QB position this past offseason.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
Frankly, I love DA now that he isn't here. He is fun to watch. When he's playing well, he's fun to watch. When he's playing poorly, he's fun to watch. His blow up was fantastic. Dwight Howard's parody of it was even funnier (and not even in the "funny for an athlete" category, which people overrate. Warren Sapp isn't funny. Shaq isn't funny. "For an athlete" or not). I hope DA goes crazy, lights up the rest of the season, helps Arizona take their division and goes on to win the Super Bowl, all along while exploding in pressers just for the hell of it. It'll be fun to watch.
I'm sure if BQ got any playing time anywhere, he'd be fun to watch, too. It's like going through your attic. "Oh, cool! I remember this!"
Wow .... last I looked he was something like 7-13 for 93 yards ..... and now he's 7-20 for 93 yards ....... lol
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
Their 3rd stringer seems to be moving the team some.

Sad that it took a reporter asking him a touchy question for him to show any raw emotion. Maybe if he played the game with that same intensity.......................................Nah...
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
It was more than that, the reporter asked him once about it, and he responded normally, then that reporter started antagonizing him about it so DA bit his head off. The AZ reporters suck if the most in depth question they have to ask is "what were you chuckling about on the sidelines, we demand an answer" Don't they have any actual football questions to ask ?
Anderson didn't handle it well ..... but after the 4th ot 5th time hearing the same idiotic question ...... well, I might have decked the idiot.
