Since we're at the mid-point for the NFL... probably a little past half for the playoff push in fantasy football for everyone.... I was just wondering who everybody's "guys" were so far this season? And in the same breath who's let you down the most?
I have 2 teams - One is 4-4 the other is 4-3-1; so it's not like I have been dominating all year but I'm in good shape for the playoffs in both because of points and the lack of dominant teams.
QB - I took Rodgers in both and for the most part have been disappointed by him. He's been good - just not as good as I thought he'd be.
Other dud's for me have been Celek in Philly - I thought he'd be awesome this year. The Jets defense while solid hasn't been anything better than a late round pick. WR's have been a joke for me all year - I knew it would be a struggle after my drafts - but Brandon Marshall in the league I care the most about has been so-so; I need more. Crabtree? I really thought he was gonna explode in a good way this season - um, no. At this point I still can't drop him because I still think he's gonna blow up in a good way, lol.
As far as Studs the best move I made by far was drafting Foster in one league on a hunch. Also added Hillis to both teams I think after week 2 so that's worked out well too. Collie was awesome for me till the injury - I need him back. I've had a few other one week wonders that may or may not still be with me - Lou Murphy, Mike Williams (SEA) and Dustin Keller - but mostly every week has been a nail biter for me while completing my team with the "flavor-of-the-week" players.
So how's everyone else stand at the turn? Who's the guy you wanna kick in the balls for screwing over your team? lol.

Hillis, Vick, Mark Clayton (+ before he got hurt I traded him & Benson for Gore), Tamme, and Lloyd have all been FA adds for me this season. Roddy White has been ridiculous all season long as far as good top round picks. Now, Ray Rice (who I drafted 3rd overall) has been nearly a complete loss this year. Mixed feelings there though as I don't want to see the Ravens do well. also, I play in an IDP league. I was laughed at draft-time for selecting TJ Ward with my last pick (#2 DB in our league this year in pts/week)

No doubt about Rice. In my "#2" league I drafted Rice, Forte, Spiller and Foster and thought I'd be set - turned out alright because of Foster and adding Hillis but Rice has been a major disappointment. Not really a bad thing in the grand scheme, lol.

I have Hillis - who's been a stud, Tennesse's defense - stud, Gerrard - stud, and Austin Collie who is currently injured but he was a stud.
At the beginning of the year, I was real excited about having Randy Moss and Reggie Wayne on my team. Well, Kevin Walter and Austin Collie have made both of trade bait. I picked up LeSean McCoy for Moss (win for me, loss for the other guy) and when Collie got hurt, I inserted Wayne into his spot. I am currently at 5-2-1 and in first place. Having a great year!

My best league is the one I drafted AP, Arian Foster, and Jahvid Best in. I also have Steve Smith, Jeremy Maclin, Phillip Rivers, Antonio Gates and the Packers' defense.
Shonn Greene was a terrible pick in one league. For the most part, I've been pretty good this year though.

Most disappointing for me this year was Cedric Benson.
When I was able to grab him in the 2nd round, I thought I was getting a steal. He's been a bust this year.

that doesn't bode well for you since Gates tore his plantar fascitis and Floyd and Vincent Jackson won't be playing for awhile.
then again, you have the Texans secondary this week

Duds Deangelo Williams has been one for me in a few leagues. Greg Jennings was for several weeks, until he started lighting up recently. Marques Colston hasn't put up near the points he was projected, didn't hit double digits until the last two weeks.
Studs I too jumped on Arian Foster once Ben Tate went down. Also, Kyle Orton has been a godsend to me in several leagues. BenJarvus "Law-firm" Green-Ellis has helped me a lot in a couple leagues since Fred Taylor got injured. Danny Woodhead has put up double digits 3 out of the last 4 weeks for me in a couple leagues.

I told my brother to pick up Peyton Hillis earlier this season because he had scored TDs in every game to that point...
He picked him up right before the Baltimore game...
...And didn't play him... Because... It was Baltimore...
144 and 2 TDs... Was good for a laugh...
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

I play numerous dynasty leagues and a few redrafts .... all $ leagues. Duds QB Matt Schaub, RB Shonn Greene (looked great in the playoffs last year but never thought LT would do what he has so far!), RB Stewart & Deangelo (The Caroline running game has been terrible), WR Steve Smith (Car) (Looked like he had a good link up with Matt Moore. Moore gets yanked then Clausen doesn't look Smith's way ... thankfully Moore is back now), WR Jennings (although he has improved lately!) Studs QB Orton (wow just great stats - think he is a sell high in dynasty leagues though with Tebow lurking), RB Ahmad Bradshaw (nice ppr production seems to have emerged ahead of Jacobs as the feature back), RB Arian Foster (great so far but even Derrick Ward looks good behind the Houston OL) , RB Hillis WR Amendola (rankes something like 12th for WRs in targets so great ppr pick up) WR Nicks (was sceptical with Steve Smith looking like the WR1 but Nicks has done way more than I expected) Looking good on the majority of leagues so far ... just hope my luck holds

Larry Fitzgerald, has been a big bust for me. Boldin gets points now and then but for the most part a dud. Had Peirre Thomas big bust. Winslow has been somewhat of a bust, He gets a few points but no TDs
Im sitting at 7-1 with a 2 game lead mostly thanks to guys I picked up on the waiver wire. Hillis, Ellis and TO.
I did get AP with the 2nd overall pick and he is a beast even on a bad weak.
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...

Andre Johnson had been off and on for me... one week he scores me 17-22 points another week he gets 2...
Dropped Pierre Thomas after the third straight week that he was out...
Made a blockbuster trade and basically traded off Knowshon Moreno and Matt Ryan for Greg Jennings (right when he hit his stride) and Michael Turner...
I've been winning lately despite Tom Brady these past couple weeks... I had to go grab Ryan Fitzpatrick as backup if he doesn't light it up this week...
Percy Harvin has been my Cockroach... I've held on to him through his injury... and then when he started to get relevant I've had him benched. And now he's hurt again...
9 of 15 players and Defense on my team I picked up off of waivers... (That would be 6 bench players and 3 starters)
I'm currently 5th Overall and 3rd in my division in a 12 team league.. I also probably have scored the least points with the most wins. Things are changing though, because my team is projected to score the second most this week.
